The UK Coastal Cover-up

By - Ian David Chessington for SENTINEL UFO 'Zine

As many of you are aware, there was supposedly a "wartime bomb" recently

(05/16/06) removed and detonated from the river Mersey (near Liverpool,

England). This bomb was removed by Royal Navy divers, towed to a safe

distance from the shore and destroyed in a controlled explosion.

Ministry of Defence spokesman Neil Smith said: "It was a huge device

absolutely massive. It weighed over 1,000 lbs and was capable of causing a

tremendous amount of damage. It was a bomb designed to wreak havoc."

The bomb, measuring 7ft, was found by royal Navy minesweeper HMS

Ather-stone, while carrying out a routine check of the river on Monday

afternoon.

At least that is the official line anyway. As always during the course of

our investigations, things have turned up that bring other factors into

play, that glare through this obvious sham, and expose it for the

media facade that it is.

On the face of it, with as many witnesses to the removal as there was, one

would expect the cover up to be weather tight, and indeed upon first

inspection it would seem so. The object was removed in full view of people

at the Birkenhead Docks, and the two stranded ferry ships that were caught

up in the scene.

The Mersey Viking and Dublin Viking ferries, which had travelled from

Dublin and Belfast with more than 500 passengers on board and were due to

dock at Twelve Quays, were stranded for several hours while the

"German-made penetration bomb" was taken to out sea for detonation deep in

the Irish Sea.

As it stands, the general public accepted this cover like the spoon fed

sheep that they are.

But what of the events that lead up to a full black ops style operation on

the UK mainland?

Has the public been informed of these?

No they have not.

In the course of our investigations we came across several people that

stood witness to strange events in the time leading up to the 16th May, in

particular the night of Monday the 15th. All of the following witness names have

been changed to protect the identities of those concerned.

Danny Q is a worker on the docks at Lairdside. He stated to us that in the

weeks leading up to the "Bomb disposal" he had seen "helicopters flyin

around the docks, we thought it was the pig but it had no markings" and

that he had seen this "been around for a few days lad". Other workers

around the dock area confirm that they also saw "unmarked filth copters",

& "choppers mate. loads of choppers" when questioned if they had

seen any unusual air traffic in the past few weeks.

Local aviation enthusiast 'Christopher' who at the time was engaged in his

bi-weekly pilots lesson, has confirmed the presence of military air traffic

and was forced to end his lesson early. Unfortunately we were unable to

contact 'Christopher's' student at the time to reiterate his sightings.

One of the key witnesses to this case is a young lady who I shall refer to

as Lisa. Lisa told me that she and two friends had parked down by the

waterfront to "have a smoke an a few tinnies" on the evening of Monday the

15th. After they had been parked up for about half an hour, one of her

friends in the front passenger seat noticed a strange glowing ripple coming

inwards under the surface of the water.

He then pointed it out to Lisa who looked and saw "a #ing realy trippy glow,

y know? An what looked like a small wave, ur, like, that toonami that killed

those people, an it was under the water an you could see a long circle shape

pushing the water up but then XXXXX told me to #ing do one, so I tried to start

the car an the keys didn't work, and XXXXXX" (her other friend) "was screaming saying

she could hear it in her head like, an then the car started an we #ing

done one lad"

I have been unable to get back into contact with 'Lisa' since our initial

interview, apart from one brief telephone conversation. I feel that she has

been approached by government agents and warned away, and now refuses to

contact us.

A night watchman whom I shall refer to as Dave also confirms that there was

something odd in the water that night "I could see a large glow in the

water, over at the far dock, a little while after I saw a car rapidly pull

off from the car-park, I thought it was some scallies mucking about with

fireworks again"

So, for weeks leading up to the so called "UXO" incident, there was uncommon

activity around the general area, right up to the point a USO is seen by

three witnesses, who at first were willing to speak about what they saw,

right up until the point where the British Military, in broad daylight

swarm in, cordon off the area, shut down the tunnels in and out of

Birkenhead & Liverpool and threaten anyone who had reported anything

unusual.

My next witness contacted me, which I must say is quite unusual. He would

prefer to remain nameless, for reasons which will make themselves clear as

you read his statement. "That thing was no Bomb Mr. Chessington, I was in a

position to see it after it was removed from the Irish Channel. The one

truth in the media story was the dimensions of the object." At this point

in our conversation he laughed. "Now my time is limited, but let me tell you

this about it, when you saw it up close its skin was both alloy and

reptiod, neither one or the other." When questioned on whether the object

was from off planet he replied "That thing was not made on earth". The only

other information he would reveal to me at this time was that the object

was "being transferred to another base of operations in a different sphere".

Exactly how this object has been transfered and as to where, remains in the

realms of speculation. Given the location of the Dock and it's easy access to

the Irish Sea, one would think that either a submarine would be used to

retrieve the USO, or it would be loaded onto some kind of freighter, far

out at sea, and moved that way.

It is the sheer scale of the sham, that makes it all the more fool proof,

as who in their right mind would believe that in front of hundreds of

people, in the middle of the day, would the English Government secretly

recover an off planet USO? No one.

Given the background we have of similar incident in the past five years

(see SENTINEL UFO 'zine issue#41 for a roundup) there are some disturbing

parallels that we can draw with this case. With regards to The Loch Ken

Incident the pre-empting of alien presence by the military is quite

unnerving. The dimensions of the object (if the source is to be believed)

were 7 foot, this is the same measurement as the 'crater footprint' found

after the Drywater Explosion.

There has been a marked uprise in USO activity since the turn of the

millennium, and I feel as serious researchers, we should investigate this

area equally as thoroughly as we do UFO/SENT issues. I feel that this

benchmark incident may force the hand of the Government into revealing

THE TRUTH that they keep hidden from us.

Can you provide the link to the original source, please, so we can check it out? This is certainly the first Ive heard about the object being a UFO as opposed to a bomb. Also, you arent supposed to copy and paste stuff like that. Just some advice.

Too much copy and paste from external source.

I heard about this bomb, but not the UFO story.

Full story about the bomb here.

There is no link for the original story, as I stated at the top, it was OCR'd from the original zine. I could possibly scan the zine again, but it was pretty badly photocopied to begin with, and the initial imaging I took looked rather unreadable.

Um, just wondering, why can I not redistribute a copylefted work? It's not copyright, or creative commons licence bound, so I thought that it would be OK to upload it.

If it is breaking one of the forums rules, I will gladly delete my posting.

Who the hell made up them crappy quotes?

Anyway, Bombs are found quiet often in England not so much any more but when I was about 5/6 there was one found just outside where we lived. Great fun watching them remove it and them blow it up. I how ever doubt little green men in space suits where the cause.... more grey men in pilots outfit from good ol' Germany
. Unless we see more than a story some one wrote up in there heads this has about as much strength as a twig...

No need to delete your post, just edit the copy and paste, and try to link to the story instead. If you cant edit your post, ask a mod via suggestion tab at the top of the page to do so, also supplying the link to this thread and the reason why.

Have a look at the magazine you got this story from. See if they have a site somewhere. Link to that if they have.

Coming from the uk myself i find the accents funny, and almost what a non-british person would say, their idea of what we would say, could be wrong.

So you OCR the document where did the document come from?

The accents are 'scouse'. Have you never heard a 'scouse' (Liverpool) person talk?

They have a dialect all of their own

Where in the UK are you? You dont have to be specific either. Area will do.

Edit for being a plonker. I have just seen you are from London. Sorry about that, i mean the mistake, not that you are from London

idc235 did say he scanned the text, and then posted it.

Surely a magazine would have a Web site?

Well there's absolutely no means of collobrating a series of anonymous quotes. Therefore as evidence it's all as valid as the following:

"A friend of my who'll I'll call Dave W, but that's not his real name, says he saw an unmarked helicopter hovering over the water earlier that evening. And then this 'thing' emerged from the water beneath it and swallowed the helicopter whole!"

Do you think that's true?

Can you not see what we are trying to do here? Have you seen any posts that people say they believe the quotes?
Try and help us here in denying ignorance. Thats what it is all about. Or you forgot that?

the trippy strange glowing fast moving ripple descibed in the "eyewitness account" really reminds me of the alien uso in the ABC series invasion. Anyone else noticed this striking similarity?

That was the funniest thing I've read for ages, even funnier than shelleytherepublican.com

There are hundreds of unexploded bombs around the UK, we get one or two found around dorset every year.

The style the quotes are writen in leads me to beieve this is nothing more than utter drivel. Its rather rare to quote people in an accent as far as i am aware, certainly no true researcher would do so in my opinion...

Done badly at that, something didnt seem right about the accents.

Cant find anything to do with any sort of cover up, ufo, other than the plain old story of it being a bomb.

Considering the number of old bombs that are found and safely disposed of, all i see this as is a badly written piec of science-fiction based around a simple bomb disposal. If they were serious researchers, then they most certainly would have a better way of informing the public about their findings than an obscure zine...

Very true. The magazine this article supposedly comes from is more than likely some cheap underground rag that has limited circulation. probably wont find a website for it if it does exist.

After searching the UFO org sites for any possible cooroberation of this, I can find a single mention anywhere of anyone who believes this bomb to be a ufo.
