I went for a job interview today, at a processing plant in central,Illinois.
The guard that escorted me into the building, was wearing a blue jacket that said "Wackenhut" across the back.
He wore dark aviator type glasses, and was pretty sturn, and very cold.

Can anyone give me info on Wackenhut as far as security wise, and then possibly answer WHY, they're in my area?

They provide security at sensitive facilities. They're good at what they do. I believe at one time or another they provided security services at Area 51. Now I think it's all EG&G, but I'm not 100% sure...

We actually have wackenhut guards that detail neighborhoods and drugstores in New Orleans. Probably depends on the location. I'm sure they are adequately equipped to handle other "situations" though.

Wachkenhut are simply renta-cops. No bid deal. You can see them at the local malls. I doubt that they will be used to guard any UFO secrets. I had a best friend who got fired from wachenhut years ago. They are just plane old security officers. The ones who usually get killed first by ninjas in an event that the ninjas need to sneek into a place of interest

Yes, Wackenhut provides security services. Very big in Indian gaming casino secirity. Now, the real conspiracy here, if someone wants to research, is the 1980's connection to Republicans, strong arming tribes, prison industry, CIA, Iran-Contra, political connections good for business (bribes, ethics). Actually, researched then but what an interesting update. Write the book--I'ld buy it.

I'm pretty sure Wackenhut runs private prisons for the feds too.

You know, charge the state per inmate, and then lobby Congress to increase
mandatory minimum sentencing.

Yes, Wackenhut has a prison arm. Guess what . . . they're some of the worst run prisons in the US. Corruption, staff-on-inmate violence, etc. You don't want to end up in a Wackenhut prison.

my 1st experience with Wackenhut Security was at the Phoenix AZ
Garrett Engine/Allied Signal plants.
sheeze, we'd walk around without badges displayed and sign in-out at
the checkpoints with 'Disney-Land names' & give erroneous times of passage. They individually and collectively were the brunt of jokes.

I kinda feel bad about my/our lack of concern & respect for those 'rent-a-cops' and for the protocols of security at a place which actually made the APUs for B-2 bombers, along with other engines & power plants, specialty engines for helicopters...(theres no secret info being released here)

i actually looked on the Wacken-Hups as similar to Journalists...
if you catch my drift.

Perhaps, the gov't is savvy enough to hire a crew of Wakken-hups.
They fufill the stereotypical role much like Sgt. Schultz of 'Hogans' Heros'
...whose tag line in that TV comedy was...
I see nothing...I hear Noth-ing!!!

but...whats they gotta do with UFOs???
(no reply wanted or expected)

They also provide security. clean up and fire support in Iraq. I know this personally. It was founded by ex FBI and has it's hands in alot globally. Yes, there are rent a cops and concert security, but they are more than that, trust me. They used to do airports pre-9/11, and they still worwork prisons.

Iraq now?! Well, well, well. Reminds me of the door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman who invites himself in, spills dirt on your floor, then uses his product to clean up the mess, making a sale. Wackenhut helping to clean up Iraq, my, my.

Wakenhut also (at least in the past) had the contract for the transport of "some" fisionable material. Only reason I know this is that I had the opportunity to visit their training facility in NM that was used for this purpose. These folks would drive the unmarked tractor-trailers across the country with gps locators tied to the vehicle. Also drove with someone riding "shotgun" (literally). Only transporters I knew of that had authorization to utilize lethal force in the protection of their cargo.

desert--- "the book" already exists, it's called Defrauding America by Rodney Stich. Even if you can't find a copy of the latest edition, it's still an incredible read, worth it's weight in gold for me at least.

Hey, thanks therainmaker! I hadn't heard of either book or author, so I will look forward to the read. The dirty tricksters the White House employs (Joel Kaplan just among the latest) are a sad and sorry lot, so I hope I won't get depressed with the book but as a call for more action.
