Okay..this is on the board home page but it links to no where.


Is there going to be a contest to win a Xbox 360?

That's my guess.

Can't think of anything else atm. Anyone get Linux to work on a 360 yet?

I was going to make a board about this a few hours ago but I couldn't muster up the effort. I hope it is something to do with Xbox, or somebody's gonna get sued .

It's either something to do with Xbox, or just taking up space until they can find another story important enough to put beside the "Simon on the radio" one.

Either way, when you click it at this point, all that comes up is an 'about:blank' box. It should link to something in the near future.

The last contest prize was an Ipod Mini for the best Conspiracy Podcast. If it turns out be a contest and the prize is an Xbox 360, I wonder what the contest might be. The increased bling factor is a positive sign though.

Likely this is one of SkepticOverlord’s marketing techniques to crate a buzz about something before he actually reveals what is going on.

It has to be a Xbox 360 prize for something. I'm sure we will find out by the end of the day.

Perhaps it is for an upcoming contest, but then again take a look at your calendar. 19 days and counting mean anything?!

Or it could just be a filler since it links to /forum/ . Bill may have run out of image work or hot topics to post up so he used that.

You maybe right 12m8keall2c. It would be cool to have a prize winning contest this year instead of a gag. Last year shenanigans was fun but it came back to bite ATS in the butt.

Yes but didn't it make you all click on it? You saw the microsoft X, clicked, and proved just what a draw the microsoft 360 really is.

I feel that if its not a superb sublime bit of advertising ( Put the 360 right at the forefront of you brain didn't it!?) then it damn well aught to be!

Regardless of what the Xbox icon turns out to be, I find it a rather convenient transition.
