Muslim girl appointed as 'Head Girl' at Catholic High School

I'd suggest that this is a first for the Catholic Church. I wonder what the heirachy in the Vatican view this.

This has soooo many possibilities. Perhaps 'Head Girl' is not quite the honor it might seem at first.

In the unlikely event this title is unrelated to scandals in the Catholic church in the past decade, I submit that the Vatican probably could care less. The prior pope embraced the ecumenical movement.

The Church will have another schizm!!!!!!!!

Nothing will happen. Wow, big deal there is a muslim girl in a Catholic School. The Vatican doesn't care about this. On the other hand the lame media does which is pathetic. The media should find something else to write about.

I felt very positive about the article. It shows multi cultural acceptance is becoming more mainstream....which is great news, especially when it is the RCC encouraging it. I was happy to hear it amongst so much negative media in recent weeks.

I HOPE the RCC heirachy are pleased, that was my point.
