Iran To Face UN Security Council (moved from ATSNN), page 1

Iran is to called to book in front of the UN security council , over its nuclear ambitions.The important parts of this is that all major parties have agreed to the move - Russia and China as well as the USA and the UK. The move won`t happen till after the IAEA makes its report in march; although iran is still stating they only wany want peaceful use of nuclear power.

The US and other permanent Security Council members have agreed Iran should be hauled before the UN over its disputed nuclear program.China and Russia have signed on to a statement that calls on the UN nuclear watchdog to transfer the Iran dossier to the Security Council.The council has the power to impose sanctions or take other harsh action.

Foreign ministers from China and Russia, plus the US, Britain and France, also said the Security Council should wait until March to take up the Iran

Well its a bout time. After they snubbed Russia`s offer; which did them no favours , it was only a matter of time before this happened. But it finally has.

The question is , now what? Do iran have an `ace up there sleeve`? Do they have the bomb allready - maybe of pakistan origin?

That for me would be the only reason they play this dangerous game of brinksmanship with the rest of the world.
