Need the help of folks from ATS.

My aunt sent these photos from her digital camera to everyone in the family. I have been looking at them and comparing them to other images online, but am stumped.

She lives in Washington state, Spokane.
She was out taking photos of the beautiful sunset, and saw these strange 3 lights in the sky, and snapped 2 pictures of them.
Apparently they didn't stick around long and formed into a sort of triangle pattern and then shot straight up.

I don't know my aunt that well, she is getting on in age.
So I am hoping the photo experts here can help verify these photos.

Report this sighting to www.nuforc.org...

Or even http:/www.ufocasebook.com

You obviously suspect your Aunt for possible manipulation.... Photos like this can be easily made.

Sure I can email her,
but would like to have a good set of questions from the members here before I bug her. If the pics are legit, then there will be alot questions.

Spreadthetruth - actually yes I do suspect she may have manipulated them.
I always start on the skeptical side. Thats why i was hoping they could be debunked technically if they are fake.

Were_all_gonna_die - that pic looks pretty good, you are probably right!

Looks a lot like Foo Fighters to me:

I'm no expert though. [my standard disclaimer]

One thing. I use Photoshop all the time, for all sorts of things. Just because an image has beeen opened/saved in Photoshop, is not evidence of forgery. If only life was that easy.

Just from a quick examination of the pictures, it looks as though the "lights" don't match the graininess of the pic itself. Just my observation...I do like the colors of that sunset/sunrise though. Very cool!

Apparently the joke is on me.

I just called my aunt to ask her a few simple questions about the event, and she didn't have any idea about a email. Then I heard her yell my nephew's name.
He got on the phone and confessed to me, that he used her computer and her sunset pictures and modifed them.

I think she is going to have a talk to him about using her email.

So sorry, nevermind everyone !
I apologize, and should have known better.
