I need help with my avatar

I am trying to put up an avatar.
When I post a link to it, which is imagehosting.us or something, it comes up as an X. Any ideas. How does everyone else go about it?

Copy the following url show.imagehosting.us...
entirely into the Avatar URL: box.
That should resolve it. Kind of like your avatar by the way

I believe you're missing part of the address. I went there and this is the full address:

show.imagehosting.us...

Your 'x' is missing some of it, including the .gif Try that.

The maximum size you can use is 160x320 pixels, your is over 430 pixels tall. Also I don't think you can use a bmp file, reduce the size and save as a gif or jpg.

Bumping an old thread because I'm having a similar problem with my avatar.

It shows up perfectly fine in my public profile page, but I don't see it on any of my posts..

Help?

Edit: I changed the URL from Photobucket to the ATS media thingy, but still no luck! It keeps coming up with a red cross now.

ps one of my favorite things about this site is all the cool avatars.
