What do you consider wrong?

Ok, I was thinking in my class (which I was'nt paying atention in), about how everyone considers different things to be wrong, or bad, and I was wondering what all the people here on ATS/BTS/PTS consider to be wrong.
Oh, and I don't mean just like ketchup and honey sandwiches, I mean like crimes, and actions to.


So, I guess I'll start off.
The only two things I have a problem with are,

1. Backwards time travel.
2. Heterosexual incest.

So, what does everyone else consider wrong/bad/immoral?

anything that causes another person to suffer is wrong




but luckily television has made me enjoy a good bit of violence wether real or simulated.

Loads of things that I think are wrong/bad.
A no-brainer would be invading another country, and then having the tenacity to shrug it off as a rescue mission for the countries people, and those at risk from this countries imminent attack on the west. If you’re going to do something like this, at least admit there are other major considerations influencing the decision.

Don't get me wrong, saddam hussein shouldn't be allowed to lead a prison choir, never mind a country, but we all know there have been worse dictators around before who've been ignored in comparison...

I'm not a big fan of murder; after that I guess eating with your mouth open or talking with your mouth full comes next.

Hurting animals unnecessarily ain't to cool either!

What makes homosexual incest ok, and hetero incest wrong?

Because with heterosexual incest theres a chance of a child being born, and theres a high chance the child would have some sort of disorder.

I consider it to be, as long as you dont go back, your not changing the future.

What I consider wrong, is fooling the western world in to believing a so called rogue country with a thoroughly hated but legitimate government, was developing weapons of mass destruction and the ability to deliver them.

The second thing I consider wrong, is for the same country to tell tell the western world that the rogue country must allow weapons inspectors back in to verify that the weapons exist; demand that the teams be given enough time to collect the evidence and then when no evidence is found, the rogue country is invaded "to find the missing evidence of WMD".

The third thing I find wrong, is for a dubiously elected official to carry on denying the first and second points and say that "it is for the best interests of the rogue country that we stay for as long as it takes", whilst his sons and daughters are nor dying in their hundreds, and smirking as he says it!

Finally, and I consider this to be the most wrong or worst thing ever, is for the fine people of the most powerful country in the world, to support a man who is so obviously living on a different planet and still believe a word this man says when, in reality, all the people in the rogue country want them to do is to go home and leave them to it.

Apart from that, the kidnapping of a 3 yes 3 year old baby girl by 3 adult males who then allegedly sexually molest and rape her, before dumping her naked, miles from home.

Whilst the very fine people of the most powerful nation on God's Earth permit such abusive paedophile sites to flourish, then the most heinious acts will be perpetrated against our children.

That is what I find most appallingly wrong.

proselytizing any religion...(discussion yes, insisting i follow yours, or am wrong if i don't, no...)

any company holding it against any employee for not "living for the company"...

What I consider wrong is when my g/f says sexually suggestive things to me over the phone while I'm at work. Then I have to wait freakin' hours until I get home to admonish her. All the while my co-workers are asking me why I'm so red.

1. Blatant disregard for life. ie, when My stupid X told My son it's okay to shoot a pair of robins out of their nest.

2. Tobacco companies, for poisoning those I love.

3. Anyone who sexually abuses a child, I'd have no problem showing them the meaning of cruel & unusual punishment.

4. The destruction of Our planet.

5. Liars, as in 'Iraq has WMD'.

6. Religions that condemn womankind with the lie of 'original sin'.

7. Mean people.

How about anything that directly affects someone against their will? That covers a lot, but maybe isn't all that can be defined as 'wrong'.

Generally, sin. More speifically, well thats gonna take a list:
1. Homosexuality(Because it is a perversion of what sex was originally meant to be)
2. Incest(Again, a perversion)
3. PorN(Again, a perversion)
4. Sex outside of marriage(And yet again, another Perversion)
5. Lying
6. Taking bribes
7. Giving bribes
8. UNnessisary violence(Like if someone punches you for no reason)
9. Murder(Excepting in self defense. NOTE: the word "Murder" implies that a human being was killed)
10. Cruelty to animals(except when the animal is the agressor)
11. Manipulating people
12. Mass murder
13. Outlawing guns(if you outlaw guns only the outlaws will have guns)
14. Outlawing knifes
15. Getting drunk from alcohol
16. Drug use
17. Cussing(its only a sign of weakness anyway)
18. Idolitry(sp?)
Just all of those in no spefic order.
I'm not able to think of anymore. Right now, anyway.

Umm, I don't really see how, well I geuss if one was over 18 and the other was'nt.

Morality, like all human ideals, is entirely subjective, and therefore it doesn't exist in any constant, verifiable capacity.

Right and wrong are like God. You can talk about them, you can debate them, you can have faith in them one way or the other, but no matter how hard you believe, you'll never actually see them in action without the intervention of some human agent.
