Utterly unbelievable.. do you know what this means?

rense.com...

Think about this for a second. Do you remember the Warner Von Braun warning?

www.rense.com...

(yeah okay, they are both from Rense.. but they have links all over the net, this is an OLD story.. besides.. Rense and UFOs.. if you can't trust him with UFOs then ... well ... you have trust issues)

So... is this guy part of the cover up? Could it be that he is being fed bogus info to convince him that the US is involved with little grey men in order to help the further the cause of the weapons makers? OR, is he right on the money, everything is true (reguarding the ETs) and the US is about to make enemies with yet some other foreign group? Is this Canuk not aware of the Von Braun warning? Maybe he's just senile.

Interesting though no? And since I have a soap box for a second...

Space exploration can be used as a substitute for war in our society. We can compete with each other for the devolpment of space in a friendly way and make the same sort of scientific progress we make though military endevors (the only thing that forwards science and technology faster then the pornography industry). For example.. we spent trillions on the rockets and development of the warheads for them so we could kill each other.. a lot of technology came from those developments that we all use in our daily lives. This was wastefull.. as we never even ended up using the damn things (which was probablly a good thing.. but still a waste, why in the hell are they making more of them now anyways). Had we spent all those resources on a moon shot to build a base.. we'd already have our alternative fuel sources that we are so hopefull will soon save our butts from peek oil or polution or war or whatever. Yeah hindsite is 20/20 but we have the ability to learn from our mistakes and ... do better next time. Well here is our first 'next time' already.. and so far Bush wants to pull out of the ISS and build more and better and longer lasting less maintence nukes (wonderfull.. so we'll never HAVE to get rid of them.. they will become 'manageable' little bundles of mass destruction.. we'll be 'comfortable' with them now).

I don't know if this guy is being used as a pawn.. or if he knows 'something' about the US involvement with other worldly beings that we don't know.. but .. but .. when it comes down to it .. at its basic level .. this man has got the right idea.

Good for him.

Wow this is really interesting. I guess no has replied because its Thanksgiving and they are too tired from eating turkey all day. I"m gonna google up some information to see if this story is anywhere else. But this is something many of us knew all along. Only time will tell and as usual this is not on the major TV networks...

We're damned if we do and we're damned if we don't. In my view it's a little like the cold war with Russia from the US point of view. As a responsible person I would have to agree that it is necessary to prepare for the defense against any agression against us. But in the end it's the irresponsible and unwise who gain control over such weapons and use them irresponsibly. No doubt, if we develop such weapons we will wind up using them against somebody. Only this time, we won't be the people who have the biggest club and be able to get away with it. It will be an open invitation for an attack once we use those weapons. Just look at all the attention we got after dropping nuclear bombs in world war two. Don't forget the quote from Madeline Albright, "...Why do we have these weapons if we are not going to use them?" I think most aliens understand the defensive use of weapons to defend themselves. It's the "best defense is a good offense" philosophy that will get us to use the weapons in an offensive manner that will be disagreed with the same as it is now by those in our own countries. Especially when there is the appearance that the weapons are being used to strike at somebody who tried to assasinate someones daddy. Extremely irresponsible.

Hmm did someone say Galactic War?

Man I would be in awe if we actually go to war with the infamous Reptilian, Dracon, and Greys that I've been hearing alot on this board about.

Well better arms ourselves with an X-wings or something or a Battlestar Galactica fighters....

So who's gonna sign up? Defend earth..you know the usual? Or who's gonna be the peacemaker or Representative of Earth?

LOL Don't take what I just said seriously.

------------------------------------------------------

I don't know I just find this interesting, I'll be really happy if we do get to interact with other civilization or if the U.S. publicize its secrets and stuff.

This was supposed to have gained higher profile attention as svenglezz posted a Yahoo business link news.yahoo.com...

But All is Not what it Appears...

Theox nicked this one in the butt so to speak. It's a paid for "Press Release" through a company called PRWEB www.prweb.com...
This is less news and more about promotion for a company or organization called "Star Dreams Initiative" All points duly noted and credited to Theox

Just to let you know, the Canadian government will not go through with this.

We barely have a government right now. Nothing gets done. UFO's are not at the top of the list.

I saw him today on Fox News. He was on the Big Story at 5pm. He was right to tell the interviewer that he needs to study about UFO's because the interviewer was really being sarcastic with him. This is the sad thing about skeptics. The Government has made it where anyone who comes out and says that they think that UFO's and these beings are real is immediately ridiculed. They say things like, do you really believe in little green men? From this point on the audience sees you as a nut and they don't listen to anything that you say.

It's so obvious that UFO's and these highly intelligent beings exist, that there's no "reasonable" doubt to this conclusion. I came to this conclusion from reading the Bible. The Bible is cleary talking about a race called the Elohim. In the Bible, you have flying spacecraft and angels(what we call aliens). The people were terrified when they saw these beings. They were so scared that they almost went into shock. These were no tinkerbell fairies.

The Bible says, Come let Us "REASON" together. When you have police officers, military personel, govt. officials, astronauts and even Presidents saying they have seen UFO's, that's huge. You add in cave drawings, ancient manuscripts, paintings, pictures and video, there's no room for "reasonable" doubt. There is NO, I MEAN NO, reasonable explanation to counter these points. It's like if you go outside in the morning and everythings wet and you left your car window cracked and your seat is wet, you can "reasonably" conclude that it rained the night before. You don't have to directly observe the rain to know that it rained. It's called circumstantial evidence. See, skeptics don't have a "reasonable" explanation for these things, so they say extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. See, an "extraordinary" claim is subjective and all you have to do is label it this way and then it can't be governed by "REASON". A skeptic must have came up with this saying. All evidence clearly points to the existence of UFO's. People who know this have to start defending this in a vigorous manner.

In Revelation in the Bible, it says the angel appeared in a "CLOUD" with feet of fire. When Moses was in the desert, the "CLOUD" hovered and took him up into the Cloud. It says when Jesus returns that He Cometh with Clouds. Read other ancient manuscripts as well.

So, Bravo to this guy from Canada!!

Revelation 10:1 - And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a CLOUD: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Revelation 11:12 - And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a CLOUD; and their enemies beheld them. ( The Two Witnesses are taken up in a CLOUD).

Although the minister has quite a bit of credibility, his weak comments paint himself out to be a gullible, old man, who is not in with the circle of whats going on. I highly doubt the parliament would give him any time becuase he doesnt say that he has any proof but says hes talked to a few insiders underneath the white house. Now if those insiders dont come forward, theres really no case.

Maybe its the former minister himself that is trying to purposely make himself look like a conspiracy nut so he can hurt the credibility of the UFO scene. Ever consider that scenario? I say that becuase the former minister puts so much reliability and trust in personal sightings and in Corso's book, which many critics would paint him out to be gullable. Even Greer doesnt emphasize proof from personal eyewitness accounts from average Joes off the street.

Man, I HATE that jackass reporter. That sorta thing shouldn't be allowed on TV. But, hey, it's frikkin' fox news, what're you gonna do?

But at the same time the PM Did appear as something of a nut. Talking about the US trying to build lunar bases to shoot at aliens and stuff doesn't sound like an honest attempt at making Anyone believe in him, he should've just talked about aliens being here and that it should be investigated.

the interviewer had no right to be sarcastic, this man was not a nimrod but a respected gentleman with credentials, he was an older gent and deserved some respect . we the world would like to know the truth, I think that we in society today can handle a disclosure of this magnitude once and for all.
Isn't it ironic mankind has become more intelligent with technology within the last 50 years. computers, cell phones , satellites , space shuttles. everything is happening too fast for normal man. we lived thousands of years progressing slowly then all of a sudden were super intelligent . makes ya think , maybe were getting all this technological savee from other intelligence.

Journalists do not have high IQs, they are usually pretty average. They also have average life interests, although they develop patterns of substance addiction and die soon (I learned this by watching american movies, but it must be the same in Canada).

I wasnt suprised. That happened to Stephen Bassit when he was interviewed by Shepard Smith about the Mexican UFO lights. I think the Minister should have expected it and went in with a better defense.

But at the same time the PM Did appear as something of a nut.

Yup. I was a bit suprised coming from someone of higher credibility.

Yea it seemed like he was playing the "I know something you dont know" game. I saw a lot of allegations but it seemed like he wasnt serious about trying to prove those allegations.

I hate to play the badguy but he should have expected severe criticism, especially on FOX. I hope he realizes that small piece of airtime has probably made parliament reconsider in not giving him a hearing.

According to the press release issued and picked up by the media (read it on Yahoo! news), the whole effort is being co-sponsored by The Disclosure Project and Dr. Steven Greer. They couldn't get Congressional hearings in the US (yet) so they've gone to Canada. I applaud the effort and hope this works out.

But regarding the Fox News interview, consider why the interviewer had a sarcastic tone. Whether the result of the interviewer's personal bias, or per instructions from his higher-ups at Fox News, this technique of ridiculing the messenger is meant to sway the viewer into believing that the status quo is the UNQUESTIONABLE real truth and stories about UFOs are to be scoffed at even if they're picked up by the mainstream news. "We Report. You Decide?" "Fair and Balanced?" Yes, FOX News, despite your smug interviewer, I will decide for myself what to believe, thank you.

Thankfully, the article on Yahoo! News provides 5 or 6 website links for the public to investigate and decide for themselves how much more they want to know or what to believe.

Hello

The two first threads you posted are closed. So this is actually the good thread. There was also a thread made by Dulcimer before the Symposium (see his first post).
