Would you really want to know?

why am I obsessed with Aliens and UFOs? I watch every
show I can on UFOs and I visit Internet sites that
deal with aliens, ufos and abductions. I can't get
enough of it.

Why?.... what caused my obsessive interest in this?
Was it watching "Star Trek" or the movie "Star Wars"?


This May 2005 my wife and I attended a family wedding.
During the wedding I ran into my cousin Marco.

I was giving his wife a hug when he said "Remember
when we were abducted by Aliens"

Without any more details I knew exactly what he was
referring to.

It was 1974 my parents went on romantic vacation
without my brother an I. We spent our vacation with my
uncle Enrique in Mexico.

My uncle thought it would be fun to spend a week at
a mountain resort. There was a horseback riding,
swimming pool, tennis courts and lots of trails to
hike and explore on.

We had a great time. On the second or third night we
hiked up a small hill to get a better view. Marco's
sisters Sylvia and Beth were with us as was my brother
Robert.

As the five of us returned back to our rooms we were
caught in a lightning storm. We were walking in
between the buildings. I was terrified, all of us kids
were screaming and running in all directions.

The lightning strikes made it seem like we were in
front of a strobe light, like the ones you would find
in night clubs.

I don't remember what happened after that. What is
really weird was that none of us kids talked about it
the next day. There was no mention of the lightning
storm.

I recently asked my brother if he rememberd anything
else about the lightning storm, he said he has not even
thought of it until I mentioned it.

I have decided to get to the bottom of this. I have an
appointment with a hypnotist on the 21st. I've told
her nothing about my interest in Aliens and Abductions
so as not to contaminate the results.

My question is................ should I?

Will I be opening a Pandora's box that will just make
matters worse?

Make sure you tell us what happens after you appointment.

I'd like to know.

However, what would it change if you found out one way or the other?

Yes, I'd want to know. No, I wouldn't tell the hypnotist prior to your session. Will it open a Pandora's box? If I were you and thought it might, I wouldn't even proceed.

For ME, having the exeriences you report and not knowing what occurred would be worse than any fallout that might be generated from finding out. But I'm a control freak.

Some advice, go to Wal-Mart, buy a $30 micro-cassette recorder, and tape the session (but don't let your hypnotists know you're doing it). That way, you yourself will be sure whether or not they were leading you.

I'm having second thoughts about doing this. I'm
worried about having a psychotic break or going mad by
bringing this up to the surface again.

What if what happened, be it aliens or just a bad
lightning storm terrified me so much that I chose to
forget it.
Like they say "some things are meant to be buried".

Has anyone else had a memory recovered?

I wouldn't worry about it too much there Stevo, I think your more likely to have a psychotic breakdown from not knowing what happened to ya, mainly because it'll be in the back of your head for a while, as it seems to have already been there... Anyhow I would much rather know what happened to me if I had a situation like that im my past. Its all about learning from it and making yourself a better person because of it.

Please be sure you use a metaphysical-oriented hypnotist.
If you do not TRUST them for any reason, find another one.
I am a PLR and abductee hypnotist, and I have to know that the person trusts me before I will do it.I record every second..
The only situation I have ever had is when a big man was going through his time on the ship and he got up screaming, and it took all I had to bring him back, but this is an isolated incident.
I have undergone years of me being hypnotized before I became one.

you see thats exactly what I'm afraid of. I wonder if this man ever got another good nights sleep knowing that they could take him anytime they wanted to.

Yes, he did, as I give instructions that you will be calm and remember nothing unless you wish to.I ususally follow-up on all my subjects.
Barney Hill of the first abduction known was adverse to hypnosis, but it gave him peace of mind for the rest of his life.
As I see, it you can know or wonder..all the et's in my life have been benevolent, so I cannot relate to horrid experiments..

My wife is going to video tape the whole thing.

I'm still a bit nervous about going thru with it but I think it will be good to know what really happened.

I'm glad you're still going to the hypnotherapist and wish you the best. i'll be watching out for any post you make regarding how it went. i'm most interested to hear the results.

one qustion: when your cousin asked you if you remembered when you were all abducted, did he not say anything further? because it would seem to me he wanted to talk and then didn't. why not?

i'd like to hear his story of just what he remembered. altho, if he didn't speak any further, that's uite good so you'll be going into the hypnosis without his version.

i am so eagerly awaiting your reply it hurts. i hope everything goes/went well and you get to the bottom of this.

It would be very nice to know due to 2 things:

1. People who don't believe will get shellshock. They have called you crazy for years and guess what, you weren't.

2. Now if the intent of them was know, if they exist that is you can finally find out where their intentions lie.

Basically I'd want to know if something this serious is going on. the fact that life from somewhere else puts alot of religions into new perspective. The problem lies with their intent. they could just come to us and say they created us and that we should worship them. At any rate its good info to know and knowing is half the battle......GIJOE!!!!

yesterday was a no go.

She was not able to put me under. I could not relax enough.

We are gonna try it again this evening.

The session did not go the way I expected it to go.

Although my hypnotherapist came highly recommended from a good friend, I don’t think she will be able to help me.

She said that because the incident happened so long ago it may take multiple sessions to retrieve any useful information. She also said that the memory may not even be there at all.

She asked me point blank if this was about an abduction because she has worked on this type of case before without much success. I told her it was and she went on to tell me that they, them whatever you want to call them are very skilled at removing memories from those they have abducted.

At one hundred dollars a session it can get very expensive to find the truth. I wrote her a check for five hundred dollars that will get me another four sessions and I’ll decide whether to go on at that time.

To those of you who were waiting to hear what happened I apologize for the big let down.
