Anyone catch this last night? Excellent series premier....
Hopefully a winner, but an iffy time slot...(Tue 9pm) Basically, two guys who are hunters for supernatural nasties... The debut episode even focused on a pretty obscure one, the women in white phenomenon. Nice work!

Never heard of it. What channel is it on? When you say "supernatural" do you mean demons and levitation and dematerialization of household appliances? If that's the case then it's a show I'll definitely check out.

Peace

It's just called "Supernatural". I think it was on WB...not sure...

To give you an idea, here's the lowdown.. SPOILER ALERT!!!

The show starts with two brothers. One's a baby in the crib, with his older brother standing over him. Dad comes in, gets the older brother, then turns out the light so baby can sleep.

Mom's in bed, baby monitor makes some noise. She gets up, sees a silhouette over the crib, and assumes it's hubby taking care of the baby. She heads downstairs to get something, but then sees dad asleep in the chair downstairs. So, who's over the kid! She rushes upstairs, you hear a scream. Dad runs up and older brother comes in, in time to see mom plastered to the ceiling with demonic eyes and then she bursts into flame! Dad is able to get both kids out in time.

Flashes then to modern day, the little brother is in college with a smokin' hot girlfriend. Anyhoo, his older brother shows up, saying that dad's missing. We find out that after the incident with mom, the kids and dad became supernatural hunters, (i.e. they kill evil beings), while searching for the thing responsible for mom's death.

He joins his bro, and they stumble upon the woman in white case (a woman who goes whacko after her husband is unfaithful, and kills her kids, then herself. She then, as a ghost, kills unfaithful men while hitchhiking). Needless to say, they resolve the case and get rid of the ghost. But, little bro wants to go back to college. So he does, but the same thing that got mom, gets his hottie girlfriend too, in the same way, so the show ends with both of them setting out to find dad (the ex-marine left them coordinates to find him).

Oh maaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!! I thought you were talking about a reality TV show.
This is a regular TV show like The Jeffersons? Talk about getting me all excited then ripping my guts out!

I think this show was really good. It's nice to see a regular TV show. I don't really care for reality shows. But I love shows like the X- Files. I think it has the potential. I am also waiting to see the new show Surface. It looks good too.

I really liked it!

I missed part of the beginning. Did they explain why people were sticking to the ceiling and bursting into flame
or is that something we have to wait to find out?

I'll definitely keep watching this one.

No they didn't.

I got a feeling this will become an intricate plot of the on going series. (trying to figure out what is doing it)

I caught it, and it was a pretty good show. But, they definatly need a new time slot though. It's up against "House " Here in Tx . And that show will win out every tiome..

I almost never watch television due to the quality of shows as well as the multitude of commercial breaks. HOWEVER, I happen to sit down next to my gf, who was watching it, and it caught me. I just hope it can keep it up.

I just happened to catch it because The WB had been on on my TV.

It was pretty good.

My favorite part was when they were walking by the two FBI agents, and one of them said "Agent Mulder...Agent Scully".

Nothing but good reviews from those who watched it! I might have to check it out. I don't think I've ever actually watched a show on the WB. This will be a first.

Peace

I rarely watch television, much less anything on the WB.

Whats WB? Sorry never heard of this channel, is it a cable/satellite channel that you have to pay extra for like HBO or Showtime?

I had the same response Dr Love, guts torn out. On National Geographic they hunted the legend Big Foot. They didn't find it though.

I don't get the WB either. It costs extra up here. I watched it on Global TV in Canada.

I'm looking forward to the next one, Wendigo. That's a fascinating legend. I remember a movie called Ravenous (loved it!) that was based on this legend.

It's the Warner Brothers VHF channel. I've probably watched Telemundo more than the WB, and I can't even understand what the hell they're sayin'!!!!

Telemundo is great! So cool me and a friend watch it and add in our own lines. Quite fun.

Ok looked at my cable log and I get WB, I remember it now, it had all those crappy teen shows like Dawson's Creek.

Lets face it, only on Telemundo can you find a kids show led by a porn star, hehe.....

Well, WB did have Buffy and Charmed, if you're into those... That's about it though....
