The bottom image is a picture of the city of New Orleans captured on March 9, 2004. The top image is a natural color, 2.4-meter QuickBird satellite image featuring an overview of the flooding in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, taken on August 3, 2005.


it is amazing what mother nature is able to do!!!

take a look at these two pics and make sure to use the zoom feature to get a closer look...

The images are not coming up for me. I see the descriptions, and links to other images, but no NO images. Maybe you could display them?

I cannot see the image either. I tried with IE and firefox and same thing, the pages load with no images.

Thanks for the images. I can't zoom in, so I will save the image and zoom in after opening with photoshop or something.

yes...

the original pics had the zoom feature because they are like a "flash" pic i guess...

my link to the pics is not a flash pic so the feature of zoom is not there but you could always zoom in with photoshop (as you said) or a similar program...
