I have a question.

Suppose you fly a 767 equiped with global hawk

All of a sudden it takes control. What do you do?

Where is the control centre? Must be somewhere down below in the lower electrical compartments. If you slip the carpet on the floor there must be a hatch somewhere leading to mechanicals. Then it probably can be hammered with an axe.

Another question.

Passanger airliners have a few parachutes on board for all pilots. Where do they keep them?

www.af.mil...

"Global Hawk" is an unmanned vehicle... not remote control of commerical aircraft (with is against FAA regulations).

Having flown a good deal in my life, I have yet to see a commercial aircraft with a single parachute on board... also considering the extreme difficulty (near impossibility) to successfully bail out and survive at the speed and altitude that most commercial aircraft fly, this seems rather rediculous.

Besides, dont you think the passengers might have something to say about the pilots bailing out and abandoning them?

Maybe it's called something else, some other fly by wire system.

Whatever it is how do you suppose one could disable it?

Best way with an axe, but first you have to find it.
Where where WHERE is it hidden? Anyone got any airplane insides sketches?

And as for parachute on board, thats #ed up.

There is an autoland system which can land a plane automatically using a combination of GPS and airport ILS. This system has backups so any attempts to destroy the system (which it sounds like you're planning to do) would be extremely difficult. The system would also reside with other important systems so trying to destroy it would quite likely result in the plane plunging into the ground.

As for the parachute issue don't you think the family and friends of those that didn't get a parachute would have something to say about it. The airlines would get sued in no time. Not to mention the guilt of the pilots knowing they could of saved a few lives if they gave up their chutes.

Yeah...Your really not making ANY sense.

There are ZERO planes flying that carry passengers and are flown by AI, GPS, Or a ground controller.

What are you getting at though???
