I'm trying to keep a thread updated

I was asked to create a quote thread and as people posted quotes, I was supposed to copy their post and update my original post. That way, the quotes could be kept organized and easy to sort through.

It seems that after a period of time, the chance to edit the post is lost. Is there anyway around this or possible way to keep this thread organized (beside each user being organized -- we all know that's not going to happen )

update it by posting a new reply to your thread, editing alone will not cause your thread to be bumped and yes there is 2 hour or something like that window of opportunity for editing your original post.
