Russia denys their insult against Finnish territory! (moved from ATSNN), page 1

The Russian military has again insaulted the Finnish territory, the fifth of August a Russian military aircraft called Tu-134 broke into Finnish territory near the samll town called "Porvoo" This is very strange, due the Finnish goverment left a note to the Russian goverment about the tresspassing a long time ago. Kreml admitted the first 14 times that they had tresspassed, but only to improve their radar system, to the last insault the russians have denied to have done anything.

Suomen ilmatilaa loukannut kone venäläinen

Suomen ilmatilaa perjantaina loukannut lentokone oli venäläinen TU-134 sotilaskuljetuskone, puolustusministeriö ilmoitti lauantaina. Rajavartiolaitos jatkaa edelleen asian selvittämistä.
Lentokone loukkasi Suomen ilmatilaa perjantaina iltapäivällä merialueella Porvoon edustalla. Se kävi Suomen ilmatilan puolella noin kilometrin verran.
Puolustusministeriö tiedotti loukkauksesta puoli yhdeksän jälkeen perjantai-iltana. Tarkkaa rajaloukkauksen aikaa ja paikka ei kerrottu julkisuuteen.

Ilmatilaloukkauksista kohistiin viimeksi alkukesällä, kun Suomi ilmoitti venäläiskoneiden loukanneen Suomen ilmatilaa yksitoista kertaa viime lokakuun ja toukokuun välisenä aikana.
Suomi jätti loukkauksista nootin Venäjälle 29. toukokuuta, ja kun Venäjä kiisti loukkaukset, pääministeri Matti Vanhanen (kesk) otti asian esiin tavatessaan Venäjän pääministerin Mihail Fradkovin kesäkuun alussa Moskovassa.

Venäläisten mielestä ilmatilaloukkauksia oli liioiteltu. Ne olivat niin pieniä, vain 1–3 kilometrin mittaisia, että niitä oli venäläisten mielestä vaikea todistaa tapahtuneeksi.
Fradkov sanoi kuitenkin, että Venäjä on jo muuttanut toimintatapojaan, jotta vastaavaa ei enää tapahtuisi.

In my opinion this is getting a bit frustrating for Finnish citizens. The Russian Air force have several time during this past year sent military aircrafts into Finland, attentionally. many specialists says that they want to test the Finnish air-force in case of a war, others just belive that everything have been to test the Finnish Goverments pressure...

What they'll be doing is; flying along the border lines but not going in or if they do go in then pulling back out attempting to find out any of Finland's anti-air systems or radar stations on the border.

Just so they know where they are encase anything does ever happen and also if they fly on the border line and they get shot down Finland is in the wrong not the Russians.

Come on... 15 times during the last half year... The finnish poples haven't done anything WRONG... They haven't broke into any territory... it is illegal to do so you know... and as the president Tarja Halonen said: It is not disaster, but it is very unfortunate...

Maybe it's just technical problem with Finnish radars? Do they correctly determine position of the aircraft?

Dude, there is nothing wrong with the finnish radars... They have pictures of the planes that have violated the air-space...

The Russians are the ones who are wrong...

The postition of the last aircraft was determined by both Airforce ground based radars and F-18C radar/gps while the fighters had visual ID on Russian aircraft, so it should be clear evidence of violation.
I assume that this particular incident was a pilot error, since the plane used was a personel transport flying to Kaliningrad and the free corridor in gulf of finland is very narrow.. but there have been ELINT/Recon planes violating Finn airspace earlier this year, for example during an international exercize.

Yes, exactly... I might have been a pilos misstake, but still... With modern equipment, things like that shouldn't happend...

yes, i saw it on the tv...

but for me its' hard to believe in them... They have the tecniques required to keep out of the fininsha air-space...

Next time they do this, shoot. Dont have to hit anything but the incoming-alarms on the cockpit should make a lasting impression about our mood for violators.

Nah, just forcing them to land would be nice...
or just a nice little afterburners on flyby really close preferably so close that they'll feel the heat

and scorchmarks would make the violating plane easy to recognize later on..

Yeah, I like that method more...

If we'd shoot them down, a war might start...

But it would be nice to scare the hell out of them by flying really fast near them... And imagine their faces when they'd come out of the plane (if it would be force down) with their hand up in the air...
