i'd go for the BG colors now....its not very interesting at the moment but is already starting to pick up since yesterday when it opened...and since its only 100 poitns for a BG color its not a lot anyway. go for it now before he raises it back up to 500!



and one another note....i dont like the idea about the blogs. i prefer rewarding others who leave comments on our blogs, it would encourage people to read our blogs. like maybe a point or two per comment.

we all use our blogs for different reasons toltec doesnt say much about himself in his but i have said alot of about myself in mine...i think what william has come up with is also rather subjective and my first opinion would be to encourage peoplt to read the blogs, leave comments and when they are eligible.....get their own blog...or maybe paying a certain amount of points for a blog?? i know others go them for free if this is done but it has been said in another thread some blogs are not being used at all and i think putting a price on a blog would help keep that from happening.

I also agree that pts. should be given for leaving comments in blogs. I haven't taken much time to read them but I would make time if I knew I was going to get points.

Don't get me wrong. That wouldn't be my only motivation.

oh i'm sure that wouldnt be the only motivation but after awhile just wanting to see the blog because people would realize what they were missing out on would then take over. but either way as long as our blogs get some more traffic i'd be happy.

what about the suggestion/thought about more smileys for points??

is that still an idea or has it been scrapped?

Well, i wanted 'jade' but i got this bright green ....well, any way i changed it to 'navy' and now it's all black.....

Well, having been subjected to them for 2 days, I am pleased to say I like the new bg colors. I'm begining to recognise certain members by their colours along with their avatars.......success

what makes it orange instead of grey?

Insider app. or enough posts aim not sure, mayby insider app.

But william himself told that 1pixel for 25 posts, so that is a fact.

The bar turns more red as you get more insider appreciation points. 100 or more insider appreciations gets you a completely red bar.

Orange bars indicate forum staff.


And on a side note, you can now purchase increases in your file upload quota through the store... and soon... background images for your mini-profiles.

So there is (or will be?) a list of backround images and one can be bought for 2500 points?
