Free translation programs

I was wondering were I could download free translation programs. And I'm not talking about googles one either.

I can't think of anywhere you could download a free translation program, but there are plenty of websites which offer such a service. Altavista's Babelfish is one of the best, it's fast and fairly accurate.

Other than that you'd really have to pay for a more accurate translation.
