Here for a Year: UK Wizard

That’s right as of today I’ve been stumbling around ATS for an entire year!

Before I first joined I’d been lurking around the boards simply reading posts and comments but I wanted to contribute to some of the topics so I thought ''what the hell'' and joined.

And I can honestly say I’ve not regretted the decision.

When I joined I couldn't see myself really contributing that much, maybe a short post here and there but that which is ATS drew me in, I began to think about my posts more and generally challenge ideas that I had previously held.

Politically when I joined ATS I was a supporter of right wing politics (not extreme right, but pretty right wing) but through reading member posts and debating with members I’ve slowly but surely slid to the centre ground of politics and I’d like to say thanks for that.

I've also grew to regard many of you as friends even though I’ve yet to meet you in the real world, I'm not going to put all your names down as I could miss someone out and feel guilty...but you all know who you are

So one big *cyber hug* and I’ll see you around the boards

I *think* I actually remember seeing you aroung in your infancy a bit (that would have been during my LONG lurking period) and thinking you were awesome.

Congrats to you, Wizard, on your anniversary. Time really does fly when you're having fun, doesn't it?. I have only been a member for a month but like you I lurked for a time before joining and I remember seeing your posts and being impressed by them as I have been since.
