Vouch for someone?

I wanted to know if due to the newer style of membership/registration for the site if existing members would be able to vouch for people or a system of invitation be developed? And of course any problems with joining members be reflected on those who invited them or vouched for them?

It's like in the movie Donnie Brasco. Lefty vouched for Donnie. When they found out Donnie was FBI they whacked out Lefty. Same thing here.

Nah, basically I know several people who would be worthwhile to this forum but two of them are dyslexic and worry about getting in through the registration part due to "what they can offer" and another just mainly wants to "Deny Ignorance" and read the information and post when she understands teh subjects better. (She's just starting to read up on stuff like that.)

Bring 'em on as the big kahuna sez.

If they're dyslexic and have trouble, just encourage them to take their time when posting.

And I'm always here if they need any help.

I like the idea, especially for cases as with your dyslexic (hope I spelled that right) friend who might have problems joining. As for any others, it's not really a problem - it isn't all that hard to get in if you want to Deny Ignorance. Just make sure they say it.
