I thought California was the Serial Capital of the World?

That was before the US began to really clamp down on serial killers ,Russia is known for "producing" serial killers.

Russia has the worst serial killers now. It was on the news the other night about it.There was this town in Russia where the murder rate was worst then New York and its population was 3/4 less then New York.

But crime is on the decline in New York isnt it? whereas in Russia it looks as though its on the incline.

More seriously - when the USSR was still a power they actively denied that they had any serial killers as it was a Western phenomena.

You could read or watch 'Citizen X' it is all about the search by one man during Soviet power to find a serial killer against massive opposition from the authorities.
