Well, to me, it tastes like Shockingly Painful, Fruity Tequila.......thats the taste I get. It's about the same strength as most Whiskys, but hit hurts a hell of a lot more.....in a good way

Here's a handy Review of the drink....

Klingon Blood Wine
Ingredients:
1 oz Tequila (Cuervo)
1 oz Spiced rum (Captain Morgan's)
1 dash Grenadine
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
Fill with Cranberry juice (Ocean Spray)
Mixing instructions:
Start with ice filled beer mug. Add tabasco first. Shake twice, a bad blend is terrible!

blah... high volume consumerize single malt... ptuuuie

You need a single malt lovingly crafted by the same family that has been doing so, in kilts, for centuries.

Now, I HAVE drank Glinfiddich. But I don't like scotch...accept for ONE TIME at Olives in the Bellagio at L.V. I had a scotch that was exquisite...don't remember the name, just drank it...along with every other drink the bartender was making. It was like an afternoon sampler of drinks.

Oh, i dont know it tastes great, and way better than the Cheap Crap that gets Peddled as Whiskey these days. I like Southern Comfort as Well it has a Nice sort of woody after taste. If you like Whiskey Try this My Pop swears by it.

Springer's stuck on Maker's Mark...and I've kind of gotten used to that in the whiskey category. He's an ambassador and has a barrel named after him...I'm not sure what that's worth, but there you go.

I do prefer SoCo if I'm not drinking beer.

William,

How much does a bottle of that cost?

William

Sorry.

Of 60 or so single malts or in my cabinet, I will always favor the Islay malts over Macallan. But I'll run with your relative judgment over the Generic brand.

Each to their own.
