Even with evolution, the laws of physics and chemistry, as well as all the dimensions of space and time still have to exist in the exact
proportions that they do now. Who is to say that an intelligent creator didn't set everything up to allow for e[v]olution to occur?
Precisely.
It's no theory, of course, but nowhere in any form of evolutionary theory does it state "God does not exist."
Again, there is no need. The concept of a supernatural diety exists beyond any "universal" structure.
The answer to these questions exist not among the stars, but lie within. It is a realm that science cannot touch, that no theory can describe, and
that no words can define. People try to [ob]jectify their faith and arm it against what they believe is contradictory to their beliefs, but it is
simply because they dont even understand what it is they claim to believe in.
The Theory of Evolution is not a threat to Creationism.
Creationists are a threat to themselves.
Evolution is a product of science, plain and simple. It belongs in the Science Room. The ideas portrayed by Creationists are a product of man based
on faith. There is no science. It does not belong in the Science Room.
Also, this has been beaten to death, but do you REALLY want YOUR children to attend a science class, and have EIGHTTEEN (thousand?) different chapters
of coursework around EVERY noncorporeal alternative to evolution? Voodoo, Wicca, Judaism, Hindu... if you teach ONE you have to teach them ALL. This
is what private schools are for, NOT PUBLIC.
