If someone with access to that hypothetic advanced AI wanted to destroy that bridge by hacking that specific ship it would have been much easier to take control of the rudder than to turn off the power at a very specific moment.

Maybe it/they did both, we are speculating on advanced tech after all.

When Iran hacked a US drone, they took control of all it's controls to the point of being able to land it.

Here's to hoping they don't become increasingly more common.

I leaning towards a fuel delivery problem. There are four generators on that ship, two run at all times, the other two are backup but when in harbor they run three - four, usually all four, from what I’ve read. What seems to be a design flaw to me, is that they all receive fuel from one source. That one source has multiple valves and filters, all points of failure, there’s also been cases of bad fuel. It’s one of the few things that would shut down all generators at once. My guess is it’s something from the main fuel source, line, tank or fuel.

I know they were looking into this but don’t know what they’ve found if anything yet.

Most likely J6er Terrorist attack. probably by mostly local Maryland J6ers or former J6ers. Just too many anomolies involved with the story. A little before that time Trump and Maga had started to use the term "Hostages" when refering to incarcerated J6ers.

Firefighter reported 13 people in the water at time of disaster.

No word on captain, or Pilot.

Definetely j6ers.

Baltimore's port has opened four temporary channels to allow ships trapped in the harbor to leave as well as a few new ships to come in.

The channels will only be open until Monday (possibly Tuesday depending on weather). This is to allow for the permanent channel to be cleared. The temporary channels will open again in the middle of next month. The Army Corp of Engineers expects for the permanent channel to re-open by the end of next month.

Let's hope nobody else gets a "steering" problem! 😀

All incoming and outgoing ships are required to be piloted by a harbor pilot, be escorted by two tugs, and keep their speed under 5 knots.

Fantastic. That was required when the ship suddenly turned perfectly into the bridge too. 😀

No it wasn't. The speed limit for the Inner Harbor is 6 knots and there's no requirement for a tug escort.
