Watching live on NASA channel.

"Eagle Cam" should provide some very cool pics of actual landing.

ETA:

Main engine ignition.

I am old enough to remember the Apollo missions. Haven't felt this kind of anticipation and excitement in almost 50 years!

I'm wondering why they aren't showing the actual event. Just talk. Maybe a still shot of some pebbles.

Not enough bandwidth for a live feed.

Still waiting for post landing confirmation through communications.

Sounds like it rolled in the final 30 meters acording to the automated info sent back. They do have a return signal now though.

I think the onboard computers chose it's own secondary landing site...and sat dishes are looking for it.
They ARE tracking a return signal.

Signal coming from lander's high gain antenna and receiver.

Well, they’ve got some signal from the landers high gain antenna, but faint. Let’s hope it got down safely and can do what it needs to do.

If fully functioning...the lander will be on the moon for 7 days performing experiments and information gathering.

Before they are willing to show us photos they will likely need to check then closely to make sure the picture is OK for us to see. Can't have something strange in what they show.

After troubleshooting communications, flight controllers have confirmed Odysseus is upright and starting to send data.
Right now, we are working to downlink the first images from the lunar surface.
