As far as Italian women in politics on the left, my only hope is every Nancy Pelosi is balanced out by at least one Janet Napolitano.

Pelosi and her lackey are starting to represent the Democrat party in the same way that Kari Lake is now representing the GOP. Summed up as, "This is getting a bit far away from center, everyone."

But roles are what they are in our archetype driven hellscape of a dystopia.

Her role therein is to be batsh*t crazy and live forever returning as speaker (probably one more time, somehow) just to epitomize her Harry Potter-esque role as Voldemort crossed with the wicked witch of the west.

But therein is something that gets brought to my attention. She's everyone's target. Everyone that doesn't like her. I just took a shot at her. One might argue that statement has been indoctrinated by male-dominated prejudice. In that context, Pelosi is mostly hated BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN that makes conservative male misogynists uncomfortable.

Or that's what my family (mostly mom) says when I say Pelosi is a histrionic drama queen that does my head in and needs to go away.

But I think there's some truth to what they say. Powerful women get called men, crazy, or airheaded. Hillary, Pelosi, or Harris respectively. I have been told that's by design.
