As per Gonzalo Lira's father through Tucker Carlson:

Gonzalo Lira, Sr. says his son has died at 55 in a Ukrainian prison, where he was being held for the crime of criticizing the Zelensky and Biden governments. Gonzalo Lira was an American citizen, but the Biden administration clearly supported his imprisonment and torture. Several weeks ago we spoke to his father, who predicted his son would be killed.

An American journalist locked away in a Ukrainian prison has allegedly died. This is the only source thus far.

For fairness, there's a few things to note.
Lira smoked and didn't look to be in the greatest of health.
There is also no indication thus yet that he was killed.

Regardless, the fact that a journalist was locked up in a country where we have sent hundreds of billions of US taxpayer dollars and the gov't has remained mum.

A lesbian dope-smoking basketball player was worth a Russians arms dealer.

An American journalist who criticized the regime was left to rot.

That's all that needs to be said.

You think they gave him cigarettes while they were torturing him?

Simply trying to be good faithed.

I don't think cigarettes or health prior to being detained had anything to do with his death myself.

Or pallets of cash, or...

Ya know what, how Ukraine is handled seems to be unique for some reason...

You seem to be leaving out the key part of why he was arrested. He had been producing propaganda for the Kremlin in an attempt to hurt Ukraine's war effort.

Yes, he was engaging in free speech.

But to see you try to justify it is delicious.

So his opinions of the war in Ukraine differ from the official opinions and you call that propaganda for the Kremlin? He deserves to be locked away and forgotten about over that?

If the US came under invasion and someone was actively working to help the invaders, would you expect that person to be allowed to go about their activities?

"Actively working to help invaders..."

This is speculative at best.

Your logic is not sound.

Please explain.

I'd like to hear how Lira is lame stream media and how his riddance is good.

I believe we at ATS can piece some of this together since we seem to be on the same page.
I'm going run a full background check on this individual to see if international courts have anything on him not mentioned in the media.

All of our resident Hamas supporters better be careful.

Wouldn’t want them to die in prison.

The US IS under invasion and the Biden administration-along with the majority of journalists-are activly helping, aiding and abetting the invasion.
