Monsoon thunderstorms get intense but the size and power of jovian storms are unfathomable; Imagine flying a saucer through Jupiter's atmosphere.

How big is that lightning strike in comparison to Earth?

Identified as lightning and green because of ammonia . So it wasn't a mysterious green flash after all.

To be honest, are we sure it's lightning?
In order to be lightning, it should occur more often.
If this is the first time they've observed this, it could be anything, even an atmospheric phenomenon we just don't know about. Scientist can only go by what they know.

Yeah and considering how big the light is, it's got to be about the size of the moon if not bigger.

Good thing we've never had reports of aliens smelling like sulfur or I'd say it's obviously aliens.
