Events like the nightclub shooting are terrible in and of themselves, but it also gives rise to the victim complex we see OP engaging in. Like David Hogg and AOC, you can be a victim of gun violence even when you are a building, or miles, away. Or Molotov Cocktail violence, whatevs.
