Never heard of Shingles then?

Obviously not.

Sorry to offend, I forgot tripe was a delicious treat in the UK.

I don’t think anyone here is saying that Mrs Carpy is a “bastard”. There is little doubt that long term effects from viral infections do exist.

It also provides a great excuse for the symptoms of vaccine injury along with stress and “climate change”, and the plethora of other things that we’ve lived with in the past.

The symptom that I was left with is the taste of Coca-Cola. It now tastes like ammonia.

Hey, none taken.

Mrs Carpy can't taste my Naga curries.

Stay safe.

Yes, my father had a bad case once.

He was never vaccinated for chickenpox either, only measles in his time.

Why?

Mrs Carpy has long COVID.

Her senses of taste and smell are still noticeably absent.

Sick "bastid" is she?

This since she was before she was vaccinated.

We both had COVID symptoms in I think November 2019.

After negotiating our way to the office past throngs of Chinese tourists, no less.

Thanks for yet another mature and useful post, Mr Nukem.

I'm calling "the establishment" the "sick bastids", not your wife.

I would never do such a thing.

About half of my family is in UK, and I can get down with all of the foods... except blood pudding and blood sausage. I've tried, they're just gross.

I can answer this. You can get shingles later in life from either a chickenpox vaccine, or having chickenpox. I had a bad case in late 2020, and it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced.

Shingles is essentially long chickenpox. It can come back and haunt you at any time.

It's not "long chickenpox", lmao.

It's a completely separate strain, that's why the same (chickenpox) vax doesn't work on it.

Wow. Just wow. I think this is the dumbest thing I've ever read here. I'm coming up on 15 years of ATS, and you just took the cake.

Enjoy the cake.

How about we ban non-vaccines for kids against illnesses that have statistically zero effect on their health first and go from there?

You want tetanus and polio....cause that's how you get tetanus and polio.

Tetanus and polio vaccines actually prevent those diseases...

"long chickenpox"?

I used the term as a joke and now you're claiming it's a thing?

No, it's shingles...plain and simple.

Testable and verifiable.

Unless you're also claiming that those with "long covid" will test positive for the virus?

Cake? Sh#T ON A SHINGLE

I'm inclined to think much of the long covid is a rehash of long flu symptoms from back in the old days, repackaged in a layer of fear.

In 2005, I got a flu so bad that lost twenty lbs and needed an inhaler to walk up stairs for six months. I lost my hearing for some time and sense of smell is still distorted. Can no longer smell honeysuckle or daphne flowers and coffee smelled like human poo for a long time. Gross. Anyhow, the reason I mentioned this was ammonia... anything ammonia now smells like mint to me, so I know I need to clean my barn when it smells minty. Fortunately, toothpaste doesn't smell like ammonia! After, almost twenty years I think this is permanent.

How about because children are a potential vector for adult infection, and a potential source of new variants.

What you're your suggesting is the equivalent of saying that you shouldn't use flea powder on your rugs because rugs don't get bitten by fleas, despite them serving as a potential site for flea eggs.

And so does the covid shot in 86 percent or cases.

Sources in my signature as usual.

Do you have nothing to say about this post regarding the polio vaccine?

Actually recent cases were caused by vaccinated children.
