41.28 Tons Of Cocaine To The United States For Its "Destruction"

They say it`s not safe for environment to burn it in Cental America , so the U.S airforce ( CIA ?) will kindly offer assistance to get rid of the stuff

Panama is exporting 41.28 tons of coc aine to the United States for its "destruction", under the control of the DEA.


Is it just me or this kind of very weird story ? I mean after decades of coc aine issues in the region, they still cant burn it safely


I`m sure the CIA would gladly help to distribute & sell the coc aine all over US...

The US has sites that safely burn hazardous waste. I've seen the one in Umatilla, Oregon; it's been there for years burning 24/7 and locals don't seem too bothered by it.

I edit alot. This is about burning coke. I would think they have some sort of special incineration process?

Combustion of the gases that come off the original burning? Though yeah probably just plastic bags in a parking lot lit with gas?

Guess monitor the wind conditions or wear a mask

It's never said they burn it so perhaps chemical destruction? That would probably work then California can use the byproduct to water our food.

The United States has been disposing of drugs from South and Central America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia for decades now. Yep the American people are more than happy to dispose of all kinds of drugs. And I'll agree with what the poster above said; no one said anything about burning them. In a lot of cases though, that is the best way to umm err get of that stuff.
