This was coming no matter what.

Debatable. Covid changed the game.

So far, I am unaffected

I find that hard to believe even if you modified your income to keep up with inflation at the least.

My $30 tank of gas is now $40,

Depends on when you got youre 30 dollar tank. 2 months vs 2 years.

it costs a little more to feed the wife and kids.

Little to some, more to others.

Subjective platitudes isnt an argument. Its a perspective and even the most optimistic still see disaster coming.

Biden won't be able to Build Back Better until he's utterly wrecked everything.

You must be so proud

And totally Joe Biden's fault.

I can’t believe you can’t see how much worse the worlds gotten since Biden’s been in power . You really would believe anything the news tells you too . So sad

Oh, so just a recent fanboy then?

No, Joe didn't make gas expensive, but his climate cult puppet masters sure did.

IMO, "Recession" would be an improvement over BidenInflation, for most people.

What we are about to experience in the economy will make the great depression look like a carnival. Wrap your mind around it so you aren't making last minute decisions.

The market is already pricing out renters and food is exponentially more expensive than 2008.

Your statement is an.......understatement.

I went thru a recession in my 20’s. Terrible experience. Layoff after layoff, after layoff. Hard to feed my wife and child. Scrounging for money to buy gas. People stealing gas from cars, gas shortages. We went hungry at times so we could buy baby formula, there were times we lived on oatmeal and 5 for a buck Mack and cheese.

Sounds like fun hey? I also feel that we are entering a recession. Unfortunately I believe it’s going to be much worse this time. This happened to me, and all around me. If you were starting out in life it ground you down. Credit debt for people went thru the roof, and when the first of the month comes, well you get the idea.

Those memories and many many more are still fresh in my mind. If your not prepared it can ruin you. You will survive though, I did, but came close to breaking my spirit.

Insolvency is getting close at this rate.

I hope all the ATSers are taking measures to mitigate the impending effects.

Im ready over here.

I was off for 26 months. I went back to work for 2 months to touch bases and pass out contact information to all of me mates. I let them know that I will feed their families when store shelves are bare. I am completely set up now. Everything you can think of. So much food, I could never eat it all. Really good stuff too!

Angus beef up the ying, Pounds and pounds of Texas wild gulf shrimp, Non antibiotic chicken, Pork ribs, fruit, vegetables, giant sacks of non GMO grain in my freezers. Everything vac locked and chest freezers set at sub zero. Solar panels, battery banks, generators. Guns, and mega ammo. Hundreds of plates, bowls, utensils , plastic cups, coffee cups, pounds of green un roasted coffee beans from around the world, ready for me to fresh roast. Lobsters, crab, sea and bay scallops, clams, muscles, calamari, cooking fuel up the ying. And so much more. firewood. Im set, and so are all my friends through me.

I just put in my one week notice. Im done working. Money, gold, silver, and lots of lead. Im ready!

Although this was very pleasing to read, I personally wouldn't itemise what I have online, just in case..👍🏼

Don’t worry. Your money will be stolen through some emergency tax or what have you and given to the real victims of this: the wealthy.

I can easily imagine the government "borrowing" people's retirement savings the next time a credit crisis hits. Especially this administration.

They'd probably replace the money with treasury bonds that don't mature for 20 years, or some crap along those lines.
