I.T. expert Nicolas Chaillan recently resigned in protest from his government position, and said that the U.S. is not taking China's "software threat" seriously.
He warned that the Pentagon is systematically “setting up critical infrastructure to fail” on a large scale. U.S. govt departments have been subject to hacking attempts and ransomware attacks, but they still don't implement the technology needed to counter the threats.
Chaillan said that China is set to dominate and control everything from media narratives to geopolitics. He plans to testify before Congress soon and try to make them aware of the China threat. He said it doesn’t matter whether the U.S. spends exponentially more than China on defense, because that money is being allocated to the wrong areas.
He has said that the mainstream media seems afraid to discuss the issue, except for Tucker Carlson, who interviewed Chaillan last week. He posted a tweet emphasizing that it's not a partisan issue, "but so far no left wing prime time media has accepted to meet me."

There was a comment on one of the trailers I watched, and it was very poignant…
A lot of people are calling this movie propaganda, but there is an American flag in the movie, when is the last time you saw that in a film, and we are Americans!!!
Something to think about

I read an article in the Atlantic a couple weeks ago (no idea the writer of the details, I more or less just stumbled upon it, in fact it may have been linked here, I can't recall) about how Hollywood is vying hard for the audiences in China and making films that will get the green pass from the CCP. I think it say about 34 movies a year from "outside" are allowed to be screened. It was an interesting read, albeit somewhat unsettling.

In Seattle China bought a major piece of real estate in 2015...(The Columbia Tower) building. I think it is 76 floors.
I am just wondering how much more real estate they own in the United States.
Currently 30 million acres of American farmland is owned by foreign investors or fully 2.2 percent of all American farmland. For context, that’s an area roughly the size of Mississippi or Pennsylvania These are effectively absentee landlords who own some of the best real estate in the United States. For its part, China owned 191,000 acres worth $1.9 billion as of 2019. This might not sound like a lot, but Chinese ownership of American farmland has exploded dramatically over the last decade. Indeed, there has been a tenfold expansion of Chinese ownership of farmland in the United States in less than a decade. Six states — Hawaii, Iowa, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Dakota and Oklahoma — currently ban foreign ownership of farmland.
