Hate him, kinda...
Anthony Mundine, great Rugby league player, rose to the top of the game, representing his state, could have played for his country and then won a couple of boxing titles
Speaking to a friend and they suggested Mike Jordan was the best athlete ever, played basketball but failed at baseball, one trick pony?
Anyway, outside of a one trick pony (read Jordan) who do you know who was great at more than one international sport, succeeded at more than one discipline (not including Kurt Angle), who was better than Mundine
Interested to know, interested to know the greats

What about Gerwyn Price?

He was a rugby league player, now he's the world champion at darts.
I dont know who he played rugby for but he's lethal at darts. He's won a few tournaments. And now he's a world champion.

Gretzky. No one grew the sport or set such a high standard as The Great One.

Anyways Jordon played minor league ball because he was suspended from the NBA for a time. Look it up yo.

That's the only name worthy of this topic.

Bo jackson.
All-star in two sports.
A real freak of nature.

Unfortunately an injury ended his playing career too early.

If you are looking at multiple sports, I know Decathlon is a singular event, however Daley Thompson has to be the best.

Francis Morgan Ayodélé Thompson, CBE (born 30 July 1958[3]), known as Daley Thompson, is a British former decathlete. He won the decathlon gold medal at the Olympic Games in 1980 and 1984, and broke the world record for the event four times.

With four world records, two Olympic gold medals, three Commonwealth titles, and wins in the World and European Championships, Thompson is considered by many to be one of the greatest decathletes of all time. Robert Chalmers described him as "the greatest all-round athlete this country [United Kingdom] has ever produced."[4]

Wiki

I also recall he was faster at 100m sprint than some of the ones who only ran in the 100m at the same level.

Babe Didrikson Zaharias has to be in the conversation. Kicked all kinds of ass at the Olympics, then went out touring in baseball and basketball, before settling on golf where she just Tiger Woodsed everybody.

C.B. Fry.

Played international football and cricket for England.
Played Rugby Union for Oxford University and Barbarians.
Jointly held the world long jump record.
Was also a sprinter and hurdler, and a decent shot putter and hammer thrower.
Also the occassional acrobat.

Kobe Bryant, straight from high school to the NBA. Such a dedication in his mind and efforts to be the greatest. Looked up to by the whole next generation of players. Feared by every competitor. Dominated everyone. Never backed down. The only player Michael Jordan ever conceded that might defeat him one on one. Won an Oscar. Wrote a series of children’s books. Scored 60 points in his final game!

Are you guys talking about the same choc?

He tried to market his mouth (successfully) and made a mockery of a science for cash.

The shame. Darren Hinch would have a fit.

Unfortunately more rugby league players followed his lead in debasing themselves and boxing in general.
