And people wonder why America is so feared & hated around the world
Do you guys really want to go this way

"The Pentagon has released the summary of a top secret Pentagon document, which sketches America's agenda for global military domination.

This redirection of America's military strategy seems to have passed virtually unnoticed. With the exception of The Wall Street Journal (see below in annex), not a word has been mentioned in the US media.

There has been no press coverage concerning this mysterious military blueprint. The latter outlines, according to the Wall Street Journal, America's global military design which consists in "enhancing U.S. influence around the world", through increased troop deployments and a massive buildup of America's advanced weapons systems...... Michel Chossudovsky - Does President Bush intend to jump-start confidence in the stock-market by launching a "timely" military strike?

This is just another Bush bashing guy and the world, like ATS, is full of Bush bashers. Sometimes I think people would get up off their death bed to run here and post a Bush bash.

Remember that even people working as "slave laborers" in 3rd world factories are still grateful for their jobs. If they weren't, they wouldn't work in those factories. They don't hurt the economies they are in; they help them by supplying money and jobs. Sure, they may be poor. But, what would they be like without those jobs? I'm guessing very, very undeveloped. A perfect example of this is Africa. Much of Africa (sub-saharan) is still in a hunter-gatherer society. That's literally the society that cavemen had. Corporations exploiting cheap labour for their benefit both help the host nation's economy and the natives of that country.

Minor number of US forces in UK so very little economic benefit. Those here buy food etc in the PX (tax free), they buy US cars, domestic appliances etc (tax free), they use our resources without charge - Roads for example, yet do not pay road tax. They are above the law (Visiting Forces Act) and protected - whatever the crime - by the USA Army / Air Force.

Loads of SIGINT facilities here - Including your biggest spybase. These spy on us / our European Allies. They aren't protecting us, they're providing US corporations with Business Intel so they can prop up their ailing industries.

We have loads of airbases & weapons stores and staging / basing for your nuclear subs here which makes us a prime target.

Overall it's an exploitative relationship with little net benefit to us - Govt or people

You are so off base here I don't know where to begin.

Let me just say this - these soldiers do have needs, and they do buy things. Every time they buy a drink at a bar, every time they go out to eat, every time they do ANYTHING that involves spending it is our tax dollars going through them into your pockets. As I have pointed out, if there are only 5,000 (and there are more) US soldiers in the UK, that is almost a 200 MILLION dollar spending power buying YOUR products.

You can't deny it. Sure they may not pay taxes like you do, but they aren't UK citizens either. They are American.

Every time I am in London, I do not pay taxes, yet every time I buy something it helps your economy.

You act as if taxes are the only thing that helps your country. Maybe your socialist views are getting the better of you. It doesn't matter if they pay your government taxes or not. What matters is EVERY TIME they buy ANYTHING over there they are buying it from YOUR country. Your countrymen make the money. They use that money to pay for houses and their kids education and food. It's that simple. You can try to poo-poo it all you want, but the fact is each base brings MILLIONS of dollars into your economy.

Stop trying to make it out like it doesn't help you - IT DOES. Stop saying that we are exploiting you - WE AREN'T. If it was SOOOOOO bad, your government would say no - or are all your people too STUPID to elect people that would realise this.

Get over it. We are allies. We help you, you help us. We are friends. Stop acting like this is some date rape situation - IT IS NOT.

And as for making you a prime target, how laughable!!!

Even if the US wasn't there, the UK would be a prime target just based on our mutual protection pacts.

It is this very thing that makes you LESS of a target of another country.

Simply put, no one wants a piece of the US. We are the biggest kid on the block. It benefits you to be friends with us.

You can hate us all you want, but in the end, it is STILL better to be friends with us then have no relation. There is no arguing this, there is no denying this, it is FACT.

Right on. Theres no conspiracy here, ofcourse we(the USA) want military domination. It secures our citizens to say the least.

OK so 95% of the worlds population has to be made to suffer cause 5% of the richest feel insecure? I wonder whats wrong with that picture

People who make it sound as though it is not is what is entirely wrong with this picture.

Well put American Mad Man.

We are the best of friends as any two countries there are. Also what do you think we are doing there freeloading or something. It helps us to have a base there but in no way at all hurts you, infact it is quite beneficial, as we are the big kid on the block and you are our best friend.

Those advanced weapon systems aren't going to be much good if no one volunteers to man them.

If there's a draft, I'm out of a job man!

No, there won't be a draft...

Does this mean the US is like the "Evil Empire" in star wars? Its funny how quick people see faults in others but never themselves.

Yep thats right..so who does that make Darth Vader?

You guys are falling over each other to convince your selve your country is worthwhile and the symbol of good for the world. 10 years ago we would have looked the other way and allowed you those naive dreams. Not any more. You are little different than any other imperialist power in history, which unfortunately means we will have to fight you sooner or later or be over run by your forces for some excuse or another.

So keep up the good work and make your self increasingly bankrupt with your silly wars...thats what usualy destroys most imperialist powers sooner or later.

There is no more advanced a weapon system as the modern carrier group. One carrier group has enough armament and logistical support to take on our nearest competitor and win decisively.

We have eleven...

It is now clear to me that only one of three things can happen to the majority of the race:

a) People will realise, before it is too late, what is going on, start popular uprising and overthrow the NWO/corrupt goverments.
b) People will realise, but far too late to do anything, and become enslaved by the NWO.
c) NWO takes place, but not all countires abide to it (namley russia/china), and nuclear war takes place, and we all die.

Personally I think C is the most likley.

Good day, good sirs!

I think the NWO is almighty, secret technologies are just waiting to be used against their enemies. This is not like alien vs predator this will be like a lion against a german sheppard. the NWO is far more powerful then any of us think, the batlle is probably already won ....the US government is presenting a lynx in the fighting arena, if that isnt sufficient enough they will present the flying lion

Lets hope so, but if the Oil from Iraq starts to make an impact in Americas economy then we will probably have to wait a while...
