FFS--Put The Poor Guy In The Ground, Already!

I turned on the morning news this morning...and found out the body of the late Congressman John Lewis is STILL being paraded around the country for, yet, ANOTHER funeral.

May he finally 'Rest In Peace', but...c'mon...the guy died TWO WEEKS AGO...and he's still being eulogized and having additional funerals...being carried all over the country.
How many funerals has he had so far?

I get that he marched with MLK almost 60 years ago...but the guy was one of the biggest Leftist idiots in congress.
He wasn't a king or a president...so why is his body STILL being carried around the country TWO WEEKS after the guy died...especially in this time of COVID...when large funeral gatherings are being condemned.

Put the poor guy in the ground, already...and let him RIP!

Meanwhile, there is historic flooding in China & the Three Gorges Dam could break. Their crops are under water, farm animals & people are drowning, nuclear power plants could be inundated, Wuhan is downstream, all kinds of crap is washing downriver into the ocean, factories are underwater...

The ripple effect will touch the whole world! Food shortages, manufactured goods shortages, more chemicals, garbage & now a virus washed into the ocean, potential radiation contamination! And what do we hear? Crickets!!!

Honestly, I find public funerals to be morbid showboating in the lowest possible barrel-scraping form of it, and attending funerals of people you do not personally know to be coattail-riding. I see zero purpose for either, one is glorified pageantry of the dead (so to speak) and the other is just people trying to look good to others for going. Neither have any shred of honor to them.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw him on TV while trying to watch my governor implement his latest draconian measures for WuFlu. I was thinking that this guy died over a week ago and they still are parading around his decomposing corpse for the optics. Just let the poor man rest FFs.

That's fairly disturbing. Let the poor man RIP. Those lefties will do anything to snare some attention and grandstand, even over the body of one of their fallen members.
