Red Square Victory Day Parade is always something to celebrate for all allied nations and fair minded people with the defeat of a Nazi and in many ways a co operating European political and business world effort to destroy the USSR and the peoples of the east. 75 years since the defeat of the real Axis of Evil and a day to celebrate for all former Soviet Union nations and indeed the whole world.

Maybe here is the conspiracy angle: Is the world more free today because the USSR beat Germany, or is it less free? A Soviet victory in the east placed a big chunk of Europe under the sway of communist thuggery. Freedom lost. I'm willing to argue that Operation Barbarossa saved western Europe from the same fate.

The way the U.S and U.K have tried to rewrite history. Deleting Russia's huge part in winning WW2.

I think it's pronounce 'wod-kya'.

It's true, if it was not for Russia, things would have been different, but let's not forget, at the begining of the war, Russia was not one of our allies. Russia was in league with Germany, and both Russia and Germany invaded Poland together.

Russia did not know that Hitler would turn on them, and when did, that's only they became allies.

Even though Russia and Germany signed an agreement, Hitler hated communism, so invaded them anyway. That's the only reason Russia became an ally. Otherwise they eould have most prob taken over other European countries alongside Germany.
