You are saying this is the first time you are feeling this way towards a girl. I hate to dissapoint you, but I really think you only have a crush on her. It is possible it will last for a long time, if you keep seeing her (and not getting her to be your girlfriend) --- we always want what we can't have ---

When I had my first crush I was convinced I'm in love, but only later I realized, it was just infatuation. You only understand that when you fall deeply in love with someone for real (being in a relationship), it will feel totally different than you imagine.

Move on, man, there are so many other girls worth to look at I'm sure your feeling towards the certain girl will fade if you stop seeing her that often and start seeing other girls more often.

You have to sit down and think really hard. Is this one girl, that you CAN"T have by the way, as important as the friendships that you would lose if you tried your luck with this girl? If not, then think that every time you see her, it might help you get over her.

I had a similar experience. My fiance has a friend that I met through him. He's a great guy, and I had a bit of a crush on him. Then one day when we were all hanging out I realized that if I EVER really let my feeling go further that I would be hurting everyone involved.
Me: Because I love my fiance more than everything in the world.
Fiance: Because that's betrayal from me AND his best friend. Not to mention he would have to see us together.
"The other guy": Because I'd be putting a major strain on his relationship with his best friend.

It's not an ideal situation for any of us, and he's a really great friend.

Well a crush can really drive you crazy but how long... a few days/weeks/months?
