Removing Post Without Chance to Edit

Just had a post removed because one of the images contained profanity.

My bad.

However, couldn't there just be a warning with a timeframe to fix the violation? My post is gone and I don't have a copy of all the text. My only choice is to re-type everything and make a new thread. Frustrating.

Do it again. Just link to the Tweet and quote his Tweet without the naughty word.

Always...always type your post off-line and SAVE....then cut and paste in when just right...and you don't lose anything!

Happens..sigh...wife didn't play lotto # one day...that day...it hit $21 million

I use colornote because it's all platform and has low overhead. Great for emails and forum posts. Everything saved in the cloud.

Could you maybe re-open your closed tabs and back-page back to the text of your post? Or something similar? Maybe it depends on your browser.

The "POST" button or "reply" button should be the last thing you consider before batting things off into the ether.

Same for emails and texts and conversation imo.

The feeling of getting something out asap often negates the need to make sure you upload what you should.

The Best thing to do is contact the moderator who did the action.
Then you can get either an explanation or the text that was removed, or both.

As the issue was resolved, the thread is repost, thread closed.
