Ummm...I do love me some Quentin Tarantino...the mans a dark genius...

Now I’m going to have to watch this...I was avoiding the film...because...well...it didn’t have your review...

Happy is one of the best shows I've watched. definitely not everyones cup of tea, which is why I drink vodka.

But it is a grow'er, not a show'er..

madness parading as insanity to presume humour. I love it.

not sure where it's at these days, probs cancelled.. but worth it till this point!

Meloni is an under rated actor and was stuck in that Law and Order spin off for way to long and not allowed to explode into a character. In Happy he not only explodes but goes full nova in to frantic madness. Physically he is buffed out as best demonstrated in the scene where he is sitting on the stool trying to squeeze one out, grunting and groaning and squeeeeeezing until he makes it. And of course the monster in the throne comes back out to kill him.

I loved Happy though by the end of the series, the story line had gotten to stretched for me so I was glad to see it end instead of going on and on and on with all the mayhem and madness.

Just a shame it got "too real" and was cancelled.. Hope someone picks it up for season 3...

I started watching Happy with a high degree of skepticism but ended up liking it quite a lot. The second season is really good too.
