Could This Virus Be A Wake-up Call?

People are in a state of panic and caught unprepared for this virus.
Now,people are prepping but their prepping is not realistic.Countries
are starting to close their borders and restricting travel.States are closing
schools,businesses,the economy is taking a major hit.Can anything good
come from this disaster?

Sometimes we have to have a good shaking to wake the population up.
We get too comfortable in our everyday lives and can get into a rut.We
want someone,or something,to blame for all of these things.Maybe we
should look into a mirror and see some of the blame before us.We can be
our own worse enemy at times.

I know that the Lord is coming back soon and we were warned these things
would happen.Everyone talks about the global government,NWO,cashless
society,5G's...This virus is causing people to start prepping and a need to
close our borders to stop the spread.We need to get right with the Lord if
we want any real chance of surviving the future.

If you never watched the news you would never know there was a state of emergency or a virus going around here in the Chicago area.

Experts are predicting a lot of pregnancies though. Since the hospitals will be crammed full of coronavirus patients this fall, I guess the babies will have to be home delivered.

We have members that personally know casualties of this virus in the usa and people still laugh it off.

No. No one will learn anything from this that they didn't already know.

Heads will just be buried deeper.

Here in Ohio, our governor has closed the schools,restaurants
are drive through only.I haven't left my house for a few days
so I don't know how the grocery stores are doing.
Chicago,hummm,I do love watching Chicago PD but,I don't want
to go there.

You don't have to believe the same way... in fact, it is guaranteed under our Constitution that no religion will be forced on you by the State.

I am willing to bet we have many more members who have casualties from violent crime, auto deaths, cancer, regular seasonal flu etc. What's your point?

You're wrong,prayers do work!

Half of the people in this country could not go three months before they started to crash and burn. They do not have the capital reserves to float through three months with no income, and cannot afford to hire babysitters for the kids all day long. sixty percent of the people in this country do not stock food to last a week if they could not buy food. It was never like this, three generations of idiots who think that they have nothing to worry about. Everyone has something to worry about.

Wait, all these people out of work now, some will break into houses or businesses, many homeowners do not have a gun to defend themselves. The people breaking in usually have some kind of weapon, they are not fools.

Our society is broken, I guess it was before the great depression too, but people found out the hard way that everyone is susceptible to a negative lifechange.

Don't worry, just make sure you got enough coffee and cookies to last months. We are prepared, we do not have to go out very often if we do not want to go. Tonight is BBQ pork Chops with baked potato and corn on the cob. Tomorrow is probably going to be lasagna night.

You're right,our society is broken and has been on life support
for sometime now.The world is changing quickly and many won't
know what to do.
I am a baby boomer and my husband grew up during the depression
and WW2.People were encouraged to grow gardens and preserve
what they grew.Now,people are too quick to throw something away
if it doesn't look picture perfect.

People can laugh it off all they want. The economic impact from this will be felt by EVERYONE. Our economy is all linked.. If the airlines/hotel industry suffer, sports suffer, energy, etc.. This all trickles down and trickles down rapidly. There will be a snap back to reality when things start to get back to normal, but people need to be economically prepared unless they are independently wealthy, have a ton of $$ in the bank or have a trust fund.
