Oh, I see. It's all about you. I have real concerns for my frail 84 year-old mother and a member of staff who has cancer, so has an immune system which is shot. Whatever that can be done to protect the vulnerable must be done, even if that means a temporary inconvenience to some people.

BTW I work in healthcare. I don't see panic. I see anxiety and concern.

btw. both my brother and sister works in a hospital, as a surgeon and virologist and from what they are telling me this has gone beyond anxiety or concern.
I understand this will differ from country to country, I'm just telling what's happening here.

In some ways yes this is definitely about me and my family. Nothing is more important atm.

You are correct. My friend on the CV task force is a specialist in HIV virus.

The drugs that "cured" the person dying in Spain were AIDS drugs. I kept a copy of the article and plan to storm the hospital if any of my family get it with the article and demand they use these fairly commonly available drugs if they are hospitalized.

There is no full cure for AIDS yet. AIDS does continue to live in the body, if CV does or not we don't know yet. I think that is what the panic is about with the governments and why they are taking such drastic measures. Will it linger in the body after the initial infection is over? We don't know. Because the other part of the disease is AIDS, there is a chance it could. Imagine the possibility of eventually losing or having to treat everyone who catches a certain flu each year? I can see TPTB panic from the unknown of it all. Not that I'm trying to scare anyone, but the reactions from governments world wide is way over the top from past pandemics. Why? Think Chicken Pox, think what the "other more serious virus" is.

I agree with a lot of what you said. You see it happening in Europe and now it's happening in the USA. They say these restrictions are temporary but when this passes I guarantee there will be new laws or amendments to laws that will erode our civil liberties.

I believe the leftist globalists will take advantage as much as possible of the covid19 situation to erode rights in an attempt to control and limit us under the guise of the "greater good".

Just today I saw on the news that clown democrat governor cuomo of new york just signed some emergency bill that is going to affect local, state and federal elections that will be happening this year and also for midterms. He has driven that state so far down the #ter it will take potentially years to undo what he has done. Enormous property tax rates, illegal immigrants getting drivers licenses, full 3rd trimester abortions, tax breaks for huge ultra rich companies to do business in ny, and most of all, the rampant sickening amount of corruption he is involved in and letting his cronies in the state assembly and Senate to commit acts of corruption that side with him. He acts like anything outside of new york city doesn't exist (unless it his elite leftists friends).

People like him are using this crisis and taking advantage to slide through policies that are politically good for him and the left while it does nothing to help the people. They are counting on the hype the media is pushing to put these policies through right under our noses while we are focusing what the virus is doing on a daily basis.

When will people say enough is enough and vote people like cuomo, pelosi, etc out of office? When will they see that these elected officials are not representing "we the people" but only representing themselves and push their agenda on people?

I can only see two possibilities.

#1) This is a mass hysteria intentionally brought out by carefully crafted propaganda. I initially felt this was an attempt to create an emergency to get Trump out of office. Too many coincidences... China being the epicenter knowing they are bearing the brunt of a trade war, it crashing the US economy, the hysteria and similar talking points from the media...

OR

#2) This virus is far more dangerous than we are being told hence the lock downs. What are they not telling us?

I think what a lot of us skeptics are having trouble with is reconciling the data of deaths / infections compared to the flu and other viral infections. This response has been way over the top in comparison. Something like a thousand people died from bird flu in the US before Obama did anything, yet here we have not even 50 deaths and the world is freaking out.

I'm not worried about my free-dumbs. Rights are inalienable because they are. I can die justified if I kill a man who gets in between me and my god-given rights. Get over the moronothon, it's a damn puppet show. Life isn't a bumper sticker.

The plan all along was to grease the revolving door between the government and the banks. Where will we "get" the money to "bailout" the "banks?" (so many lols in one sentence).

The next person who screams "where will we get the money?" should be strangled with their own entrails. It's all BS. All of it. Every last flag-humping, romper-room level mind-control programming trick in the book. All fake news.

Watch the money fly away trillions at a time with not a care in the world for the productive people who actually earn it.

I've been reading forums and comments on news sites where posters are asking(begging is more appropriate here)
for God's sake close all the stores and put us, the whole country into quarantine, declare martial law as fast as possible or we will be in trouble with this virus. Take responsibility as a government!

Funny about that nonsense from the dump of a town surrounding University of IL in Champaign. On the way home yesterday, I heard about another IL town (Chicago suburbs, I forget which) who declared they would NOT be performing any water shutoffs for non-payment. Bills woukd still accrue, but obviously, they want people washing their hands and showering.

The Champaign mayor is truly a dolt of the highest order. She should probably step down and hand the reins over to someone more capable, like a slime mold.

When it comes down to it, in your moment of need only you will be there to face down the danger. That is why being prepared, both physically/mentally and with equipment/training is so paramount to ultimately increasing your chance of surviving it.

If you are lucky enough to be around during someone else's time of need, whether you answer the call is entirely up to you. I'd suggest doing so, but that doesn't change the fact we are in fact on our own when the switch flips and its time to act not observe

I've always suspected a pandemic was high on the list of threats we faced. The fact it happened shouldn't surprise anybody. But to be certain, there will never be government agents following us around with lysol and hand sanitizer to make sure we do the right things

*I am not suggesting you leave your friends/neighbors or even a total stranger hanging when they need help. Quite the contrary actually. I urge you and others to drop the cell phone and get involved to help them. Just saying that we are never guaranteed a group of white knights riding in on horses to save our sorry rear ends

Right now, it doesn't seem like firepower and armor will resolve this situation

But there are still other ways you can serve your community, your neighbors and yourselves. By avoiding nonessential exposure, you protect your and you protect others. Wash your hands to avoid spreading, don't horde excessive supplies (4-6 weeks is more than enough) and don't take PPE away from high risk people (ie: infected, healthcare workers, etc)

Not saying you should donate your supply of N95's, but if you have thousands of cases sitting in your bunker for a rainy day consider supplying your local hospital.

This virus will actually be dangerous if healthcare workers can't go to work

That very thought passed my mind earlier today. I feel that maybe they are related. Lets keep an eye on midnight chopper runs in downtown urban environments and lines of people marched through streets during simulation.

Not all of them are simulations and some of them are disguised as such with actual captured people. Maybe its a discreet purging within the establishment. Maybe very specific people who are infected are hauled off to black sites and the entire media show is just the cover to facilitate capture/kill missions on domestic soil?? Its too much speculation, I admit. But it isn't not possible.

All kinds of legislation, funding, and partnerships are in play, so I mean it is all technically possible, and I think plausible as well. So long as we continue to investigate the connections with resources such as ATS, LittleSis, and TheyRule we can remain vigilante to their affairs and actions. I also like to utilize the Columbia Journalism Review for CJR's guide to what the major media companies own. Lets me keep track of who owns the radio stations in my market, the TV stations, even the magazines at the news stands change ownership now and then. If I suspect a subtle change in the writing in some magazines, I will use CJR to see if the ownership was the same as before. Backtracking all that with the other resources to see which board members of these companies have met with what politician also leads to some interesting discoveries.
