I saw an article on one of the punditry websites (either Gateway Pundit or Breitbart) which pointed out that Liu was involved in at least three cases where the prosecution withheld evidence from the defense. Flynn was one of them.

My take is, whenever you see a twit journalist use "evergreen" it's a signal to other journalists that the 'timing' is now right to publish a past prepared article potentially with additional new info to push a narrative.
