His character Odo was awesome, one of my favorite parts of DS9.

His character's interactions with Quark are the absolute best part of the series.

He will be missed!

Holy brown stuff!

I mean when I read the name it didn't click then saw the face and actually scared my dog calling out "Whaaaat!" I first saw him in Boston Legal (having never really been a fan of Deep Space Nine) but man... I know he was old and everything but still.

WTF, first Aron (Nog) and now Rene/Odo?! 2019 sucks ass, and better not touch another Trek actor

I was a bit partial to DS9 myself.

Always on BBC 2 at 6pm, near enough without fail, throughout the 90s.

Odo and Quark were great together.

Sadly missed indeed.

DS9 was the equivalent of a daytime drama of the likes of Days of our Lives.

At least until the dominion war.

After the war ended, back to days of our lives space station style.

Odo's character was more of an annoyance. One I wanted out of the way and that I did not connect to in any way possible. Odo was nothing more than filler material because making a star trek episode fit on a space station was difficult enough.

Mr. Auberjonois was one of those rare acting talents who could play any role like he was born for it. I put him in the same class as Burgess Meredith. Hollywood has lost one of its brightest stars.

I think even Quark would agree he's earned admittance free of charge to the Divine Treasury.

I forgot about Benson...

Read about this earlier today and thought about MASH.

It was one of those movies where you could see a whole group of people move into their careers.

Man, kind of makes me feel old knowing 70s movies and their actors...

RIP, Rene, thanks for the believable entertainment!
