DR, Planes from Reno to LV, travel right along that 75mile radius you were talking about...at near 40,000 feet that's plenty to see the horizon...I didn't intend to mean that you could see Area 51, just the location of the valley it is in, on the horizon...nothing you could take photos of or make out or anything.

If an aircraft approaches within a 25 mile buffer of this restriction, they are warned off by air traffic control, and then escorted out by fighter. Penetration of the 75 mile limit results in the aircraft shootdown without hesitation, from a number of interceptor fighters stationed there, as well as numerous anti-aircraft positions located along the perimeter.

Think you kind of skipped over this part.

I have an online aquaintence who is a travel agent in LV. She indicated that all commercial flights are specifically diverted away from the general area. Only flights allowed in are JANET flights.

Considering that according to the federal government Area 51 doesnt even exist, and the entire area does not appear on any USGS maps, I find it hard to believe that they happily blow commercial flights by just outside thier buffer zone.

Every weekday morning, at least 500 people arrive at the guarded terminal owned by EG&G on the northwest side of McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here they board one of a small fleet of unmarked Boeing 737-200s. Using three digit numbers prefixed by the word "Janet" as their callsigns, the 737s fly off North every half hour

ok, these people have to come from somewhere right? a home. a house. a box, whatever have you. would it not be easier, to follow these people home, get into their house, and wax them for info, or at least raid the hell out of their house, and bug their clothing or something? pay attention to the obvious and possible.

But if people are willing to enter other peoples houses they are breaking the law and if people are willing to break the law just to know what is inside the facilities why don't start a group there is willing to kill other people and send them to atack and kill all workers In the areas.. Then search for secret docoments or other kind of secret information, steal it and find a hidden hideout..

I know why.. Because then they are wanted all over America and the rest of the world...

who knows..
but what I don't understand is why they dont just admit the existance of "area 51" if they didnt try to keep it so secretive then it would not be a big deal there are alot of restricted military bases and no one drives around them and gets all obssessed with them. But also its a gunnery/bomb range for nellies officially correct? well maybe all those bases and stuff people see are actually just decoys so the planes have something to shoot at.

but chances are there are an assload of top top secret crap and stuff.

Remote viewing works for even the most sceptical person so if you really want to get into Area51 then maybe that's the best option.

go there to find out as much as anyone knows about area51. There are no fences, just orange posts that mark the perimeter, and 2 guard shacks. The cammo dudes will not do anything to you unless you cross the perimeter, and then they just call the sheriff and have you arrested. They won't talk to you, and they won't let you take pictures of their faces. You can still see the base from Tikaboo Peak, but it's 26 miles away. Every day people go up to the perimeter and take pictures, so it's obviously legal. I've got some great pictures of the base that I've gotten from different sites over the years.

I have a plan. Why doesnt someone hanglide in off of one of the surrounding mountains. That way you will have maximum penitration into the base before they start firing at you. If your lucky, you may even be able to fly out the other side....like 15 miles away.

One more thing,
The federal government has admitted to the existance of the base.

Oh, and as far as the US geological survey maps. If you look through mapquest or something similar and try to find the base. It will be blacked out. But some of the satelite image sites allow direct coordinates to be entered. You can see it if you use that method.

Hang glider? You'd be ashes in no time, hehe.... anything bigger than a seagul is gonna red box you on their radar, and trigger an instant response.

Do you seriously think these people aren't afforded protection? You can bet their homes are equipped (courtesy of their employer) with the most advanced security and surveilance systems out there, as well as panic buttons, silent alarms, and routine observation (likely by the NSA or DOD) ? It wouldn't surprise me if they even had inner dye locator capsules, transmitters, etc. (hell, maybe even the old "instant heart attack" button....in case you haven't heard of it, it's borderline nano-tech that causes instant heart failure...done by the worker's handler no doubt).

ya.. there is no way he flew to the boundary. first off, you cant just fly into the restriced airspace that surrounds it. secondly, by the time you actually got to the airspace boundary of 'area 51' you would have been intercepted. they would not shoot you down, they would have to get approval for that. but.. what would you do if you have 2 f-15's screamin past you.

Have you ever been to the McCarran airport in Las Vegas where the staff working at Area 51 take off to go to work everyday? I can't remember the name of the air line but this private plan takes people to Area 51 in the morning and brings them back at night. I used to wonder how people got in there and then I realized that they were flown in everyday. And if you sit by the airport and watch these people get on and off the plane and see where they park, the police come by and watch you the entire time your there.
