As a member of the Health and Human Services committee, he should just say this was all about research! He was "taking one for the team" doing an investigation to document this dump and its health risks. Well done Mr. Senator!

The reason prostitution attracts crime, pimps, etc. is because it is illegal. If it were legal, none of this would apply. look at Prohibition. Same rules apply. When alcohol was illegal organized crime moved in and controlled the distribution. When prohibition ended, so did the crime.

Still though, there is something really wrong with a senator that is the chairman of the Senate committee on health and human resources who would want to have sex with a heroine addicted prostitute in a place like that.

This is so bizarre to me that it almost sounds like he is demonically influenced if not possessed. Certainly this guy snapped somehow and went 180 degrees off course. Seems like he needs as much help from mental health professionals as the hooker does.
