West Virginia state senator charged with prostitution

Well here we go again, why? Why are our lawmakers so sick? Can he really not do better at age 51 than resort to this?

West Virginia state Sen. Mike Maroney has been charged with soliciting a prostitute.

This guy is "Maroney is the chairman of the Senate committee on health and human resources." and yet he wanted to meet a heroin addict in a house where "Authorities found used condoms, uncapped hypodermic needles and "an unimaginable amount" of human feces and urine throughout Clark's house. Before one of their meetings, she told Maroney her house was messy and he replied he didn't care about a mess, the complaint said."

I don't think he knows his job to well!

West Virginia Senate President Mitch Carmichael issued a statement saying the allegations are "deeply disturbing" and that further statements would be released as the case continues.

Maroney exchanged text messages to discuss prices and set up meetings with a woman who has acknowledged being a prostitute, according to a criminal complaint. He also sent her a picture of himself smiling along with a message reading "now can I stop by" after she said she wouldn't meet without a photo of him.

Most of Congress is sick. At least this one doesn't appear to be a trap specifically set for Republicans. It looks like they've been investigating this prostitute for a while and she was the first one charged. He just happened to get caught in the original trap.

I think what they were intimating was he became a Democrat as soon as he hired a prostitute, since only Democrats do this #.

Congressman- "Alright ma'am, I'm finding multiple violations, you've been a real naughty girl, time you get some punishment"

Two consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want. I don’t know why we still care about this stuff.
