I like these finds of exotic minerals the most fortunate... finding that opal must have been just a wonderful day. And then to realise that there are still such huge pieces burried smewhere in the ground...waiting to be found by some poor dude. That person can consider himself one lucky SOB.

I've been watching a great TV show lately called Outback Opal Hunters, how much of it's scripted I have no idea, but I suppose much like with Gold Rush when that came out, it's fun to watch 👌
