That is actually a typo, it should read, "General Electric turbofan" (TF34).

the pic of the 170 at guam has little round white spots along the wing, none of the other pictures show them on any other 170. It looks like there are 6 of them 3 on the leading edges of the wind.

what are those?

Most likely Beyond Line Of Sight [BLOS] sensors.
