Flat earthers .. if they wanted to prove it why don't they clump some money together and get a weather balloon or a rocket, attach a camera to it and use the footage to prove to the world it is indeed flat. Or is that too simple ?

hy is the distance between equally spaced longitude lines different - at north 30 and south 30

this is distrublingly obvious when comparing distances from jacksonville [ florida USA ] - and points due west

with perth [ australia ] and points due east

Actually, they have done some science. And got good results.

Laser gyro proved the world rotates.
Line of sight experiment proved the Earth's curve.

I wonder how this one will turn out. Do you think the circumference of Antarctica will match the map of a round world, or a flat world?

I can see what you're doing here, but we both know that isn't what's happening.

You don't reject results, you reject the hypothesis the results don't explain. You come up with a different explanation for the results. Flatnuts have only one explanation they will accept, and the alternative explanation for the results they actually get isn't one they admit to.
