China gets world’s first 5G rail station in Shanghai

5G moved from hype to reality on Monday in China. Thanks to that reality, passengers at the Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station can soon enjoy ultra-fast mobile networks, where downloading a high-definition movie will only take 20 seconds.

By installing a 5G digital indoor system (DIS) provided by Huawei, the station became the world's first railway station to install 5G DIS, with the aim of achieving deep indoor 5G coverage within the whole station by the end of 2019.

Will have to keep an eye out to see if this causes damage to anyone working in this station. If 5G is used for mind control it makes sense China is installing it already.

But since it is China, if there were any ill-effects, would we hear about them??

I doubt we would see a headline saying it was the 5G that caused it. We could see some news about a mystery illness or something like that going on in the rail station though.

Checkout what happens to Firefighters who had opposing cell towers near their fire station. Symptoms included problem with memory, intermittent confusing and weakness. They found abnormal brain functions in all of the firefighters.

The way I understand it your 5G router isn't the same as the 5G that is said to be so bad. Still not a good idea to continually be that close to a RF source.

But still no 5G phones here I will try to keep everyone updated of the ill effects if there are any that will be easy to spot!!

Thanks for the info, I haven't been keeping up with cell phones... yeah I have been thinking about moving it outside in a plastic weather proof box, maybe on the roof so I can get more range.

Oh...I just looked up 5G frequencies... millimeter waves 28GHz and 39GHz, looks like nasty stuff... says it's also used in medical treatment of diseases to change cell growth.

Think I will pass on the 5G phone stuff... and add more foil on the walls.

There was a thread here about a cap you can buy on Amazon that has metal mesh in it to shield your brain from RF. May have to order one before 5G is deployed.

Technology is changing so fast I can't keep up.... wah.. emf crowd control weapon!

I did a little more reading on millimeter wave energy today, the frequency range is about the same used for airport body scanners. So, I assume it's possible that they could scan underneath a person’s clothing at that rail station.

They''ll probably use several antennas throughout the rail station since it's propagates by line-of-sight. I believe its possible to be used like radar to track people and objects.

It could also be used to map cities and track people, cars, buildings structures etc...

Lot of crazy things can be done with 5G than just internet..... so much I can't keep up.

A metal mesh ball cap seems like a good ideal... I might have to buy or make one now. : )

Give it a year and you will wonder what all the fuss was about.

i mean good for them but wifi 6 is already coming out so it's not really that big of a deal anymore.
